Half the American Motocross tour appears to be here by Bradley Airport. Just ran into the Troy Lee Designs team in the lobby of the Doubletree; they are going bowling. The JGR rig got stopped traveling south on the interstate. Mitch Payton and the Pro Circuit guys tried to drive to Pittsburgh over night (10 hours maybe) to catch flights from there. Ronnie Dement is here until 6 pm tomorrow. Wes Nobles and the GoPro guys are just sitting at the hotel lobby. And Jeff Emig is halfway to Syracuse, said he was the only car on the road for much of the morning! Just spotted the Moto Concepts guys and Mr. Chisholm too...

Those are just the people I have spotted or heard from. I imagine a whole bunch of people are scattered around New England right now!

Thank God they sell beer on Sundays.

Reynard and Bogle are stranded in a hotel in Hartford until after 5pm tomorrow night. Good day for a movie or something fun after a day in the sand at the wick...if any place is actually open!! It was wild reading all the tweets of riders and teams making the mad dash to PIT to try and fly out last night. Glad to hear of their safe arrivals and success at getting on planes this morning.

BE safe all!!! I am so ready for racing at Steelcity next weekend!

I'm glad I had a short 30 minute drive home yesterday. Smile The storm didn't even hit this area too hard today,It rained hard for a little while and the wind wasn't bad.

Just dumb luck for me I guess, this is the one race a year that I stay with a buddy instead of a hotel!! My flight is obviously cancelled too, but at least my friend has a basement so I felt safe Tongue

The power went out a couple hours ago so I think we're gonna head to the casino Cool Hope not ALL the roads are closed lol

Davey; if anyone wound up without a room over there have them get in touch with me, I'm sure we could accommodate a couple over here.

Good luck and safe travels everyone! What a surreal weekend; some of the best racing I've ever seen, then we all get stranded lol Huh

One team that I know, flew out at 7:30 last night, and headed to Indy for the MotoGP.. Texted me when they got in that they had made it to Indy, but were really tired. Hope they're not too worn out after today, have some E-track to put in the box van tomorrow. Man, what a life, AMA National one day MotoGP the next.

Gabriel and I headed west to Albany, and we're hunkered down near a Wal-Mart. I'm on the downwind side of a theater, so we've got some wind protection (not that it's all that bad, anyway). There are a bunch of other RVs here, too.

Cherie, I just ran into Robbie at Bradley Bowl with the Bogles and Marshall Plumb, and in the lanes next to them are all of the TLD crew. Everyone is just kind of wandering around the area because almost all of the stores are closed...

The tough part is that I am going to miss my daughter Sloane's first day of school tomorrow. Oh well.

That sucks!!! I know your whole family would rather you be safe then try to make the trip home!

You could start a bowl off between the teams and have one heck of a write up on it! ;-). It sure beats sitting in the room staring at the wall!!! Stay safe and try to have fun!!

I tried getting Robbie and the Bogle's out early but no luck. Everything is canceled!!! Sad ((

If I had to be stuck anywhere, it's pretty cool to be here at the airport with a bunch of moto friends and co-workers. I have a feeling that some competitive bowling will be breaking out right around beer-thirty.... And Marshall Plumb told me he used to bowl competitively, so he's on my team!

We are all piling in the car and driving home tomorrow, then straight up to Steel City on Tuesday. It's almost over.

Too funny: Just got a call from Doc Bodnar who is driving all the way to Cleveland to make a flight! He said that Eddie Casillas got the last flight out of Albany. Doc had to drive seven more hours and will catch a flight so he can get back to San Diego to go straight to work at the ER.

Still near Bradley. Originally leaving 9:00 a.m. today. On Friday, switched that to 3:30 Saturday when it became clear Sunday was a wash out. That got cancelled before going to the track and rescheduled to Monday early. That got cancelled when I got back from the track, now scheduled to go out Tuesday am. I hope. Thinking about heading to Cleveland tomorrow as it's the closest place with flights to Sacramento available.

On the other hand, it's been a lot of down time to work on pics.

Drove home to Jersey last night. It rained most of the way home and since the state of emergency was declared everywhere there were very few cars on the road. The worst part was south of Red Bank on the GSP. Wind driven sheets of rain. Good thing I was in the company pickup and now my car. It held strong without moving around too much. Good to be home checking out the wind and flooding.

Day 2.... We finally gave up on getting flights sorted and rented a van and drove back to Pittsburgh. But when Ricky Dietrich and Riff saw this thread, they called and hitched a ride with us, so we've been bench-racing in the van all day.

Last night's bowling party was hilarious. I will leave it at that. Still hurting today. I imagine a few riders and mechanics are too!

Hurting cause bowling balls are heavy, or hurting cause bowling alley bars make strong drinks? I think I know the answer.. Tongue

Good thing you made it home, DC - a bunch of the SPEED/FUEL crew are still in Springfield, MA waiting for flights out tonight and tomorrow morning. I'm supposed to get on a flight at 6:30am tomorrow morning that gets me into LA at 11:30 AM. Wish we could have gotten out today!
