It is not confirmed that he is going to Yamaha yet. He is still waiting to hear from Kawi! Besides, it is JS we are talking about. He could win on a KTM.

I heard that Kawi wants nuthin to do with him. Seeing how they haven't renewed the contract, it sounds true.

I would love to see KTM spend every dollar on him! I wonder if Bubba would have to wait months for backordered parts! Hahahaha

They cant afford both Stewart and RV.. With Stewart wanting a sx deal only, they are going with RV. Not really that hard to figure out.

It will be weird to see what happens with James and Kawi.
I remember watchin a Fox vid (pretty sure it was Fox) that showed James first Kawi he ever won a championship on , and every bike since, all green.

Maybe Kawi is just waiting to see what his knee looks like and will see what they need to offer to keep him.

Pretty much every post Ive read on the subject seems like speculation so far.
My opinion is biased I love Kawi, and I've always been a Stewart fan, but, this should be interesting to watch. I wonder how much ppl would be willing to pay for his contract.

He didn't have to skip the SX series. He chose to drop out of the series when he realized he would actually have to race for the title.

How do you know they didn't try to renew his contact? James could of just turned down the offer because the whole monster deal.

Somehow I think there is at least a small chance James will stay with Kawi. He's a pretty loyal guy, and has stuck with most of his sponsors his entire career.

GARBAGE.....He went from dead last to 2nd and just stayed there while Reed pulled the holeshot. Stewart just got 2nd and stay there instead of pushing the envelope. He rode smart. Reed still only one by less than 10 seconds. I think that tells you who was faster. If you seriously think Stewart was scared you are a complete idiot and know dick about racing.
