The 125 World Champion in 1992, Greg Albertyn, may have had something to say about that! lol

How about the Shift ad where Emig was in the hot tub with all the chicks in Vegas? Ryno's wife was one of them.

Just like in his 125 days, a string of bad luck cost Emig a title. He was the better rider that year regardless of points.

I can't get the pic to upload, but my favorite has to be the one with him holding up his finger for number 1 just after winning the US Open. What an epic night for him. That goes along with the best quote which had to do with the fact that being up the podium winning was better than being in jail. He really is one hell of great guy.

This gear is so sick
Very similar picture was in Motocross Action Mag 1997 december issue (one of the first usa mx mag I bought here in Latvia Smile ) and I thought the same even then, so simple, but so sick at the same time Wink

Probably one of the coolest photos I have ever seen. This is Fro at the 92 MX Des Nations. Total commitment on display here. I just wish it was a better quality picture.
You know he crashed right after this picture was taken right!?!?

He was not better than Henry as far as 125s are concerned, 250s yes.

I believe he did had a piece of a coffe place down in Temecula area. Next to his girlfriend's hair salon or something like that.

Pretty sure this was his one and only appearance on a 500. Definitely could be wrong though ,like I have been in the past.

I wish shift would remake some of that gear. Their old stuff was awesome.

Black Shirt with Camo pants is a cool look. And he even had a camo painted helmet to go with it. The orange and also the green combos are good. Even though it's nearly 15 years old now, that racewear still stands up.

Solid colors, and 2 / 3 color combos at most, look the best. They don't seem to be as popular anymore, though.

I'm going to turn my 06 yz125 into this bike. I think the hardest part will be trying to get the seat cover so if anyone knows where I could pick one up let me know.

Don't know if it's the same for everyone else who has a home track, but I can spot a Budds Creek photo without even seeing the track itself.

That gear is awesome!
