I was told Matiss Karro (Latvia) will race Southwick. Hope he does good.

I think British rider Tom Church is meant to be riding Southwick. He wants to race a National before he retires at the end of this season. Not sure he'll do anything of much note but it I'll look forward to seeing if he can prove me wrong.

RV is doing pretty good...considering that Dungey gave him a 25 point head start in the series. But if that's what RV needs to win the title, then more power to him. Grinning Grinning Grinning

Huge RD fan but its time to forget Texas. He pulled to a point out with 4 races left. So it's best of 4 for the title pretty simple. Whichever Ryan wins will have earned the title and at least RV fans can acknowledge Dungey's outdoor skills now

I have to respectfully disagree. While there is nothing that can be done about Dungey's DNF, it did (and will) come into play in the title hunt. In my mind, unless Dungey's competition wins by more than what Dungey gave up, Dungey is the (un)official champ. I suspect that RV fans know this as well since they love to mention Pourcel's 2009 DNF when talking about Dungey's "luck".

I can predict another boring, run of the mill speech from anyone who gets to the podium.

Luck runs both ways... looks like RD's wave finally broke. I'm sure he'll catch another one soon. Maybe not, he did sign with KTM... Pinch

Didn't know he signed with KTM. Who said that? Guess we'll all have to wait until September 10th for the real bragging rights. Tongue

My totally unbiased prediction for the 450 Class is: Reed, Metcalfe, Simmonds.

X2 Finally someone who gets it. It sucks Dungey lost all those points, but that isn't RV, Reed or any of his competitors fault (it wasn't Dungey's fault either). The Ryan's and Chad are the 3 best riders in the world currently (Trey would make it 4), it just will come down to who has the better days these next 3 races for the title, and that could be any of the 3.

And to Overdrive's point- if RV wins out (which he will not) he will win the championship by 25 points, thus erasing Texas completelySmile Once again, I don't think he will, just saying about the points.

I hope you're not forgetting Dean Porter. He can ride the sand as we all know. Will easily sneak into the top 5 with Byrner right on his ass. Yup thats exactly how its gonna go down.

Yup and could really shake up the points. Was just watching TGO 09 and the Barcia/RD battle at Southwick was sweet. Will we see the 2011 remix?
