I really love these old ads you are posting. Thank you! Do you have any Kawasaki ads from that era?

I love how they used to sprinkle mud on the bikes for the ads in those days!

Also love how simple the graphics kits used to be.

Not sure who thought of the name but the reason was because the shock was not directly attached to the frame top or bottom, hence full floater, it was compressed from both the top and bottom as the swingarm move through its stroke.

So, I don't get to ride for 5-9 months.

Guess what I'm building?!

Yup...

Always makes me think about Magoo.

I am pretty sure it was derived in the Suzuki marketing office after a large group lunch at the local Mexican restaurant.

Booby:

That what made all Maico riders fast, you can't stop very well so you learn to just hit the corners hard & fast..LOL

BTW:

I know how to make one go fast & stop well, built a few myself.

Is ther any chance you have any ads, testes, etc. for a 1977 yz100? This was my first race bike and I've never been able to find anything on it.

Thanks

Those things were so "flickable" and easy to whip. I used to scrub EVERYTHING when i had one. Now, with this turd four strokes all i can do is boner airs and the occassional one footer.
