I just got home from GH and DV12 was riding a 450.
I was pretty sure that he wouldn't ride the 250. I guess it wouldn't make much sense for Suzuki to put him on a bike they don't make any more, eh?

I have a feeling the track got improved. The seeded guys didn't ride qualifying.

Maybe true Randy. I just wonder how much track prep went on between the practice sessions (non qualifying), 2 stroke race, and non seeded qualifiers you know? You would think the track conditions would deteriorate....but who knows.

Practice and qualifying were after the 2 strk race and maybe 15 min. time was spent on the track after practice. The track held up very well as the day went on.

From Cyclenews:

Townley was 31st quickest, but he’s not riding at 100 percent. Townley recently crashed while practicing at home and is riding with a sore shoulder and wrist.

Reed was always bridesmaid to RC and Stew. So yeah, I guess it is lucky Reed isn't there. One less person for Bubba to lap.

Reeds bike wasn't competitive in those years and we all know it.

At least Reed had the class to say his bike was better than RC's in '03.

Wake up and take a look at reality, Reed is every bit as good.

So, Townley runs a 2:54 in group practice, then runs a 2:42.4 in the qualifier. Wow, they musta really changed that track to give a pro 12 seconds on a lap. What'd they do? Pave it?

You don't get any points or gate position for winning practice.

this is one of those times when you would do yourself a favor to keep your opinions private.

Do you really hate James that much? If not, then you might want to consider how that statement sounds.

James will shred the field at GH. It starts today...we'll see who is still standing after 12 rounds.

Actually, no. You stated an opinion because it's a future event.

I agree that he has struggled to finish seasons, but your opiinion is still just that. And it seems pretty hateful.
