Danny Chandler's career ending injury
the production rule, which was a result of Yamaha wanting to kill the awesome factory Honda's
4 strokes
not being able to hear the sounds of a full gate of 125's screaming to the first turn....
Something needs to be done. I know injuries are part of the sport, but the tracks in my opinion have gotten out of control with the SX type obstacles. Removing them and getting back to a more natural terrain layout would be an easy fix. European tracks are somewhat like that and It seems like it makes a difference.
Thanks for sharing man.

Racing is dangerous, it's the Internet that is making us more aware of these accidents, blah, blah, blah.
But,what can really change, Rock?
Less riders in classes?
Better more advanced safety gear?
Toned down slower & tighter tracks?
Also the deaths and permanent injuries happen all to often in practice and also to recreational riders.....
Not sure how it could ever be a safe sport at any level.
I don't believe there is enough data yet to suggest mandatory neck braces but no brainer things like mandatory chest protectors and kidney belts would help significantly. Easiest and most obvious thing we can do is to tone down the jumps plus we shouldn't wait for years to change a section like the Alessi speed bump section at Red Bud.
Since the wooden stakes aren't an issue I think we should actually sharpen those things up. Regal's the only guy who has landed on one so there is no way anyone will ever land on one again.........................................
Seriously I don't understand the resistance to going to the type of stakes the GPs utilize with the covers on them. Can't we have the next title sponsor's logo on those covers?
TripleDigit-You are right chest protectors aren't cool with the current crop of racers. The good news is as the younger riders mature we'll see more chest protectors but the bad news is how many serious injuries and deaths we will see happen needlessly before the new crop of racers are the majority?
Not being able to participate anymore. Just about everything you monkeys post, makes me want to ride...
Pit Row
They said no nationals in the Southeast, but clearly, there is one.
45 second lap times in supercross
Not having all of the races on live TV (we're close though)
Feld
Riders not making enough money
The under/over bridge not at the supercross races anymore as much
All of the "Bro's" that this sport attracts
No more live webcast for the supercross races
I am sorry.
I didn't realize the only criteria for having a "National" is to simply call it one.
There are sure going to be a lot of track owners having a "DOH!" moment.
I think I will have a national next weekend.
Spread the word.
