Muffler Bearins

gots me one of them new YZF four fiddy and uhhh when i revv it up the pipe rattles. does i need some new muffler bearins?? and umm what kinda ya'll runnin these days?

I have always had good results with Kale Co.'s muffler bearings . Give them a try.

Wow, only $49.95? That's probably half of what I'd have expected. I'd suggest buying a dozen or so at that price. You could probably make a killing selling those on eBay.

I usually run pivot works. They make good ones. Make sure its seated all the way in there buddy shittl rattle like a mofo if you dont!!! good luck

They all have the hard to find parts. My sister in law lost her 710 cap a couple weeks ago and I just ordered her a replacment from Kale Co. I tried at Autozone and Pep Boys but they could not find a listing for the part.

Replaced mine with swingarm bushing from a 73 Yamaha AT3. Perfect fit.

Muffler bearings are powerband dependent, so make sure you get a new powerband at the same time.

It sounds like you may need to tighten up the piston nuts. Do not attempt this task without a left handed crescent wrench.

Heres my bike. i tried everything new powerband (candy apple green), i didnt have a left handed cresent so i just used a monkey wrench and my piston nuts were torqued to 135 foot pounds so those seemed to be in spec according to the owners manual i made myself.

Be careful, the only way you can run the piston nuts at at 135 ft-lb's is is you use a titanium piston return spring. If you don't run Ti could rupture the phetzer valve.

Secret holseshot tip of the week: rig up a can of ether in your intake and give it a quick shot off the line. Works just like nitrous. Requires regular canooter valve cleaning though.

That thing was fast. He smoked the 'no reflector, auto clutch stock class' at the qualifier but got protested because of the grips.
