I know that many great racers have spent many years at the Ranch. Just wondered if anyone knew how many consecutive years a rider has raced at Loretta's. Im not talking wins either, I dont care if they got 30th every year. Just getting there is huge! ...but wins are cool too, so I listed some guys with consecutive WINS. That's amazing.

Me n mike went every year but 1 year from 95-04, it's incredible to make it to that race but the feeling of leaving with a win has probably gotta be unreal, I won a few times but never enough to take a plate home, my last year there I won all three motos of 250b but after being dq'd in moto 1 for no airfilter screen I lost my chance at ever bringing home an amatuer LL title. LL's is the proving grounds of young amateurs and to me is the 2nd most (single) important race in motorcycle racing, des nations being #1, LL has so much value of winning, n if u bring home 2 a year your gonna be a threat for a long time to come.

Kevin walker has undoubtably been there the mist for racing, guesstimation I'd say 16-19 years.

Nice to see you (riders) posting.

How did you not have an air filter screen installed?

Practice day I crashed in the 10 commandments n bent my subframe so my mechanic swapped the whole backend with our dyno bike n never even checked the filter. Worst part, we were told on the gate they were checking for screens after the moto. Honda fought hard but could not have it undone. It was sad.

Pretty shitty deal but I guess rules are rules. I wish they would check some simple stuff like that at the regionals but they dont.

Let me add a bit to this story.

You may have been screwed out of a LL Championship, but you damn sure won a few at Ponca. In fact, one of your 1st place trophies from 2003 sits proudly in our workshop. You spotted my son at the track in a cast, learned that he wasn't racing as a result of a multiple compound break. You let him hang out with you all week (he was a pee wee rider, but you made him feel much bigger). And then, when he demanded that we go to the trophey presentation, you saw him and gave him one of your trophies. It was, literally, taller than him. He became your biggest fan. Thanks again, Jeff!

Seriously, DQ for an Airfilter screen?

What sort of rule is that? Must be the AMA goobers.
