RJ is the man! the other guys looked like a scene from winners take all!

MX could use another RJ or Hurricane and a couple less quitters and movie stars.
A few fans who could think for themselves wouldn't hurt either.

RJ was full blown showman on and off the track. There will never be another. He made motocross cool in my book.

It's amazing what a mullet can do for your confidence when speaking in front of large crowds.

The greatest interview I have ever seen. Gotta love a guy who speaks his mind.

That was an odd race. I shot photos at that one. It was also the race where RJ wore the Life's a Beach shorts over his race pants.

And yeah, the format was a bad idea.

The format completely encouraged sandbagging. Apparently RJ didn't get the memo. Wink

Good intention, agreed. Could have been easily tweaked to perfection IMO - maybe start a purse for heat races.

RJ was in the first heat race, so he didn't have the benefit of seeing what others would do. He rode like he wanted to ride. If he'd been in the second one, and someone had sandbagged in the first one, it would have been interesting to see what happened.

The way it played out did provide him with the perfect opportunity to throw those other guys under the bus, though.
