I'm glad KTM is going to take care of this its going to be expensive for them but it does reflect well on the company. It's a problem and it is happening with alarming frequency. I heard about 3 different failures this week.

I find it hard to believe a bearing that fails in 10-15 hours wasn't caught during the testing of the bike. Maybe it was a supplier not meeting the specs or something
I have yet to approach my dealer as I've been in hospital,
And here I thought they called them back to install the missing 100cc's
Bearing failure is probably related to the damn bike weighing an 1/8th of a fucking ton though. I'm still of the thought that they should have built the 350 based off of the lighter 250F instead of 450 poundage. As much of a KTM fan as I am, hard for me to imagine what they were thinking when they looked at the scales and stamped it "approved".

Dude it's getting old not to mention KTM is producing the best two strokes ever made. You want to ride a two stroke ride one but seriously the whining and snide comments are retarded.
Maybe a factory mechanic that builds 350 motors all the time can do that.

Thats what you get when you put a lot of pressure on your bearing suppliers and take your purchase management a bit to far. You get shitty materials. The same goes for the handlebar clamps
For any of you dumbasses: KTM doesn't make bearings.
Damn my serial is in the 1000's. Looks like I better make some phone calls tomorrow...
