Add Chris Blose to the list

Unfortunately they got on SX only teams and financially it's not viable to continue Outdoors on their own money with limited support.

They made more money doing sx only for JSE and H&H than they could have doing both series for any other team willing to pay them. Sucks for the health of the mx series and for the fans. And of course for the riders future contract negotiations. Maybe they both needed the money NOW for investment purposes instead of looking at the big picture. SX only should be for old guys like Windham (oh wait he's still hammering the outdoors) or for the filthy rich who drive the price of participation up for amatures like Stewart.

KR30 can privateer it on his own just fine.
he's done it before and can do it again.
and he'd get picked up in a few weeks too.

Unless he is under contract again for 2012 with JSE, I don't understand why the SX-only contracts don't run from October-thru-the end of SX. They seem to be standard contract lengths which means these guys are obligated NOT to race for the whole summer until the contract ends in October or whenever. That would doubley suck if he has to sit the Nationals out and yet has no ride for next year.

It would look bad for JS7 if Regal went out and killed it.

I doubt Regal is getting paid big money. I would be willing to bet he took the ride with Stewart for next to nothing. He was unproven in SX and he was not in big demand.

Free bikes and a ride to the SX Races is better than nothing. That might be what Regal was thinking when he signed.

he signed the contract. no?
Exactly! These guys knew what they were getting in to when they let the ink fly. Can't blame the team. Blame the rider if anything. And that goes for every rider.

Yes he did sign a contract....but why can't James just straight out say yes or no I am not riding the nationals? Instead of testing and acting like he was gonna race and then deciding not too at the last minute because he is not ready which is just bs.....Then maybe Kyle could have lined up a ride.....its a shame because Kyle is a top 3-5 guy.......

Why would you think James is racing the outdoors? before you sign, check stewarts past statements on the outdoors! if any doubt ask Bubba and if he can t give you a answer, get a clause to be released if you want to race outdoors. Can t have it both ways.

Whistling You people are all just speculating. CB38 (almost forgot...can't use his first name) is not contracted with H&H for the nationals or even for next SX season. He is a free agent (under no contract to any team right now). CB38 is fit, and ready to race right now if he gets the opportunity. And yes, he probably should have taken more of an initiative to line up an outdoor ride, but staying focused on SX was his priority. This is a copy of what he posted on 'gomxracing' just after Hangtown about himself racing the nationals as a privateer:

For the people who think i should race, trust me i want to be out there more than you know. What our AZ guys are doing like Buddi, Rhett, Jeremy and Dillon, takes a lot more than you guys think, especially if i want to be top 10 where i know i can be. I've done what they are doing and I did it for 3 years straight and have pitted out of PT Cruisers, Vans, SUV's. Thank god for the support i had behind me with Family, friends and Donnie at The Pit. Otherwise, i wouldn't have been able to do it. You have to factor in Gas, food, lodging, entry fee's, liscens fee's (AMA Card), Motorcycle, suspension, motor (if you want to be competitive), parts (clutch, chains, sprockets, grips, oil, etc), and hope you don't crash and bend up subframes, pipes or rip off plastic. Like I said, it's not as easy as getting in my truck and going racing. Also, i'm not gonna go and race on a stock bike with suspension and a pipe and hope i do good. My career is too important to be going out there on hope and trying to compete with bikes that are way better than what i'd be on. Your only as good as your last race and in this industry people forget REAL fast!

Whats the point of that statement from Blose? Why can t some dudes buy a bike, pipe, some engine mods, more on the 450(cheaper) and race the local rounds , and in between, work a job and make some money! If your a fast enough to be a top 20 dude, you should be able to at least round up some help from a local shop. You cant sit around and assume people will be knocking on your door.

Sometimes riders have to look at the BIG "career" picture rather than just.... how will I get to the next race. When a rider has NO statistics going for them, they have to start somewhere. Chris did the same thing (If you read his whole statement). Somemtimes a rider has to fore go his wants and concentrate on his needs first.

Since Kyle and other riders have SX contracts, can they or can't they try to get a ride for the Nationals also? I don't know if this is possible or not. Just asking. Since most teams have riders contracted for the entire year for racing both series I'd say not. If guys want to run the outdoors with support they need to stop signing these BS SX only contracts.

Ok makes sense, but I thought mx was blose s job, if it is how does he support himself paying bills? Does he work a regular job.
