So, a couple years ago, it seemed Ashley was the heir apparent to the FastGirl Throne.

Last year, a slimmer, meaner JP came out and cleaned her clock. There was some talk on here about AF's head not really being where it needed to be to defend her title, and it wouldn't be that way this year.

Well, here's a fresh start to a new season, and it appears JP has fired the first shot. I didn't get to see it, but with her second moto crash to first ride, it would appear that Patterson pretty much dominated Ashley in both motos.

I'm out of the loop. What's the scuttlebutt?

WMX has no place on Pro Day at the Nationals. Run them on Friday or Sunday with the amatures.

All I have to say is they have to ride that track at the end of the day after all the motos I wouldn't last one lap, shit looked gnarly on tv, pourcel hit that hole in the second moto and almost went flying over the bars.

Other than that doesn't do much for me, more worried about the 30 second girl each week Wink

There are photos in the Photo Blast. (Check the homepage.)

Jessica and Ashley both rode strong, and beat the top GP rider, Steffi Lairer, though she did mention problems of a swollen hand from a crash last week. Those three were head and shoulders above everyone else.

The field was also a lot larger than last year's.

The last time I really took notice to the WMX class was last year at Southwick when Patterson was faster than some of the guys in the 250f.

I didn't get to look at the lap times, but I'm curious if they've gained any more ground on the men.

As fast as these women are, I think that Southwick was a pretty significant accomplishment. I know there were some ladies in the past that have had dreams of running with the men.
