Now I know there are all the topics about the new game, but instead of just complaining about it, let's put our thoughts and wishes and I will send this link directly to THQ so they can see what the consumers want. Please be realistic and short with what you want. No complaining just constructive criticism please.

I am disappointed with it so far as far as the tracks go. I want real outdoor and supercross tracks. They've done Stewart's compound, so lets get them to do the same for the outdoor tracks and supercross tracks. No more snow tracks and narrow, weedy made-up tracks.

Let's hear some other ideas!

my idea?

play the shit out of it, form an opinion after you reach level 50 and let us know how it was.

i have a feeling most of the complaints are coming from players between level 1 and 15.

They read/heard the same requests before Reflex came out. They had 2 years to make real tracks with real bikes. They gave us a great product (physics) and snow covered tracks with fake bikes. The moto community must be less than .001 percent of the people that buy the product. Since it's the only moto game made it really does not matter what we want. We obviously don't matter. Of course we all bought the game. We have no choice.

Ive heard it's horrible the first few levels. Personally, I'm not going to spend $50 to buy the game beacuse of all the negative things Ive been hearing about it.

Its $40 mate, plus all the negativity comes from level 1-15 as peel out mentioned, after that seems to be really positive.

We've spent months working with the OEM's to make it happen. They will be released in teh coming weeks through DLC. We busted our butts to give you real tracks too... That's how the James Stewart Compound came about.

I think the game is great, I prefer first person in any race game I play, and it's actually pretty sweet in the game, in reflex it was a total guess at how your bike was angled.

Too many wheelies, I want to be able to preload with riding a wheelie up the face of the jump.

The rider waving and taunting is super gay, I'm sure they are getting that picture though, I drive off the track everytime he puts his hand in the air.

no real complaints or than those two. I'm only level 9. Stewarts place is dope as hell and I like how the bike upgrades and it actually makes a difference.

Thanks for the response. Couple of questions. Why the May release date with snow tracks and fake bikes? Why not wait? Do you really think $20 is a make it or break it deal? That would not fill my lawn mower with gas. The stewart "compound" is not what I consider a real track. I'm talking Unadilla, Glen Helen, Red Bud, etc.. Are we going to see any real tracks this month?

We've always had a big game with a lot of stuff. Even now, for $40, our game has way more content than many competitor's 60 dollar products. Thing is, people only play a small part of the game, but they are different parts. Yet for 60 bucks they are paying for a bunch of stuff they don't want, and yet, we couldn't focus content on what they did want.

By doing this, we release a great core game for cheaper, get it in more people's hands, and release it sooner rather than the 2+ year wait we've had in the past. Then we follow it up with a ton of DLC that consumers can pick and chooose what they want to build THEIR game. DLC has allowed us to do so many cool things like the Stewart Compound and finally, get the OEM's involved. The great thing is, you only pay for what you want.

It will deifnitely make the possibility of real tracks easier to digest, as well as, allows us to take the extra time we need to fully re-fine SX to be a new and completley authentic experience.

The Stewart Compound SX tracks are just a small glimpse of what is to come. It's a new business model, and it's definitely an experiment, but as a HUGE fan of the series, it excites me to be able to keep the game fresh with new content often.

I'm glad there aren't any Monster trucks, stadium trucks, trophy trucks or dune buggies in it so far. I've noticed that the bikes upgrades are still missing a few items. Only stock as an option. Are those DLC items?

One more thing. What is the estimated total price of all the DLC items that are to come?

I'm just curious what the total costs if the game will be after buying a bunch of DLC. Could it end up costing $100 for the game if you want all that stuff?

Also, will all the stuff available through DLC be available by unlocking it, or is paying the only way to get more stuff.

Your main "competitors" for the moto community is COD, GT5 and Madden. If you want to compare yourself that is the benchmark. As you say the "ton" of DLC will make it a great game. What does THQ consider a "ton" of DLC? Hope you did not spend to much time or money on the stewart compound. It is the most realistic of any of your tracks but it is still just a practice track.
Imagine Madden 12 coming out without real stadiums. Imagine Nascar 2012 on fake tracks. Imagine GT5 with fake cars.
Sports/motorsports require realism. But what the fuck do I know?

I know this game was not developed by rainbow studios? I put reflex and this crap on and its unbelievable the difference in graphics and game play. The only feature that i like on this game is the clutch use, i dont see anything else i enjoy. Rider physics is crap, graphics is crap, the tracks are narrow and lame. i just frisbee this crap out the window.

I think the main confusion is that we really don't know anything about the DLC. When is it going to come out? How much will it be? When is the timeframe for SX?

Like just give is some aprox dates. Like SX is coming late June or something.

How does the DLC content work for online racing?

Do you have to buy everything that comes out to access the DLC content for online play like it is now with reflex, or will you be able to play online with just the tracks you've decided to buy?

Any word on pricing for the DLC tracks?

Do I have to get them bundled with a bunch of other crap I don't want?

Is the online play portion fixed this time around? As far as I know there's no sample game to download, so given that reflex was as bad as it was I'm not bucking up a dime until I can try this version and see what it's about. Sorry THQ, but fool me once......

You buy the DLC you want. YOu'll be able to play online with what you have, you won't be able to play what you don't. But yes, you WILL be able to play what you have purchased online.

DLC tracks will be extremely cheap compared to other games' map packs. Let's just say 10 bucks will go a long way when it comes to tracks.

We've done away with bundles. Buy each item seperately so you can pick what you want to buy and only spend money on what you want. Tracks are the only exception, multiple tracks will be together, but they will be of like event type. Nationals will be with nationals, SX with SX, FR with FR.

All DLC plugs straight into the game and progression system.

Online has been nearly flawless. Ask around.

The feedback for the taunts seems pretty universal. Any plan for a patch to get rid of them?

As stated in the other thread, we're looking into everything that comes up.

Quote from there :

Actually talking more about body positioning. That's another piece.

Some things are easy to fix post ship, some things are packaged together and it's tough to fix them because of either file size or risk of breaking something else. Not to mention, patches aren't cheap.

We're currently grabbing a list of issues, and evaluating our next steps.

the game gets better. the "hard" tracks that you unlock at level 25 are the cats ass. i think once people get that far, theyll just start liking the game. it doesnt play like reflex. honestly, my biggest complaint now that i have all the tracks unlocked is that gah ass taunting. but i can live with it. i also dont like the chinese looking bikes. bikes looked better in reflex.

for the person that said they wont buy it now because of negative comments, the game is cheaper than filling up your gas tank.

Anybody else notice the menus are slow? I am liking the game more and more, especially now that I got the really awesome tracks at the end, but the menus are getting on my fucking nerves

"DLC tracks will be extremely cheap compared to other games' map packs"

Can you name the games you are comparing yourself to?

Only reason I ask is it comes across as COD is $15 for 3 maps and you are going to do better. So are all the tracks going to be completely different or same environment with different layout like reflex? Huge difference and huge difference in built in starting point.

Well first off I never bash anything! especially on Vital or in General. BUT I waited over a year for this game and was all pumped for a HUGE letdown..I don't understand how you can make a game worse.. Reflex was BADASS just needed a little polish. But you guys put POOP in a blender and served it up on a disk and Decided to call it ALIVE! ALIVE is a good name"I can't tell I'm Alive by how bad this game makes my Stomach Feel, After wasting countless hours to see if the GAMEPLAY Gets Better.Honestly you guys could sell ice pops to eskimos!!! If Donald Trump was your boss youd all be Fired! Im a level 36 and i decided that this game already claimed a portion of my life i cannot get back, so i quit!

The PRO's yeah there is a couple
1. Graphics look better!
2. Engine sounds are better
3.Level 25 and up tracks look nice
The CONS......................................................................
1. Gameplay is HORRIBLE "hence why the James Stewart trailer video never show's him landing a whip"
2. No Gyro. Throttle doesn't raise bike up in air Brake doesn't chop the front end down!!!
3.Bike feels like a john deere Tractor and you can bash people like its a tractor....
4. Off track black and White super LAMEO
5. no feeling of ruts even being on the track...
6. Feathering the clutch takes 5 seconds whats this a "Steam locomotive"?
7.Turning is Horrible and The Riders look like absolute Goons! throttle hand always down.
8. HAND JESTURES "gotta be the dumbest thing i've seen"
9.
10. I'm tired of thinking about it people please add numbers and keep this going!!!!!!!!

11.
12.

supercross is epic. enough said.

one you play to about level 20, and if you have the stewart tracks it's pretty fun. realism isn't it's best quality, but it's a fun game! and there are real racing lines, not the whole stupid rail the outside, seat boucing and whipping makes for sweet racing, and there will be real bikes, there will be ktms, suzuki's and i believe yamahas. the style isn't as bad once you get smoother with the game and you master the controls, and just giving the clutch a tiny tap coming to the exit point of corners helps alot,

did i mention supercross is gonna be epic? if you have played any of the supercross tracks, ALL THE PHYSICS AND WEIRD FEELING CONTROLS SUDDENLY MAKE SENSE. just give it a few weeks for more content...

I think the game is great. There are some things that annoy me but not to the level where I feel the need to jump on a forum and completely crap over it. Overall, solid game that will get better once PSN is back up.

We believe you should include *classic* bikes in the game, similar to many of the very successful auto racing games. Wouldn't be that big of a pain -- just new skins, right?

Patience is key. I finally got the modded 450 and online is amazing! Tracks are a lot better and the racing on online is way better than reflex online. Can't wait for the dlc to come out.
