Sorry I like watching motocross... so being able to watch the Qualifier races and MX3 European MX2 and EMX125 races online I view as a positive step...maybe you see being able to watch all that motocross as somehow a step backwards ?!.... Motors putting the GPs and AMA on tv is also good... it's all good that is my point.

it wasn't Motors TV that had the probs, from what I understand after reading press releases on both sides it was YS that were attempting to run it through MX LIFE online without TV coverage......obviously a VERY DAFT move and proven by the awful coverage from race 1 in the WMX and the fact that god knows how many refunds have been applied - yes we all have the web but its SHITE compared to HD on a widescreen on the settee with no buffers, I could go on.

well done Motors for still being a great channel - why ESPN didn't pick this up though I have no idea!

"nice to see motors realised their error........"

ROTFLMFAO!

Motors' statement:

Jean-Luc Roy, CEO of Motors TV: “After three years of exceptional coverage on Motors TV it was inconceivable that the Motocross World Championship could exist without the unique exposure given by the ‘High Speed Television’ channel, and by it alone! The championship promoter immediately realised that the Europe’s first motorsport channel was integral to ensure such a high level broadcast in terms of quality and quantity. For the next three seasons, fans of motocross are now certain to be able to follow their favourite championship in the best possible conditions!”

Frédéric Viger, Head of Programmes and Acquisitions: “After the disappointment of our contract not being renewed and the first Grand Prix of the season not being broadcast on television last weekend, Motors TV is delighted that Youthstream has accepted that it wasn’t feasible to lose Motors TV and its 20 million subscribers. As proof, the partnership with the Motocross World Championship has been renewed for three years until the end of 2013. With highlights of the French, Belgian and MX3 Championships and particularly our live coverage of the American AMA Championship, Motors TV has further strengthened its position as the channel for motocross fans.”

It would appear not...

Those PR releases stink of political posturing by both parties in order to protect their own integrity. You can read into them what you like, but it would seem they both reached a compromise ie; Youthstream (who were probably leaned on by Monster) offered them the TV rights for peanuts which Motors would have been stupid to refuse, but on the basis that YS retained the rights to the web streaming so they could make mx-life a success.

We just got all 4 moto's on TV confirmed a couple of weeks ago and now you have all 10 motos on TV now that Motors resigned with Youthstream. Ba humbug!

Sorry if this has been covered but is there a way to watch Motors TV online? I don't have cable subscription and it's nearly impossible to get it for a fair price where I live.
