Has anyone ever owned or played this pinball machine from No Fear?  It appears to have MC on the graphics.  Looks pretty cool from the old days.

A new member posted about a No Fear/MC pinball machine a couple of days ago, but someone deleted the post.

He wrote:

"No Fear Pinball machine from 1995 featuring Jeremy McGrath. One of 5,000 produced with an estimated $4,000 market value."

There was more text and I think there was an image of it as well. I can't remember if it was the same as the one you posted.

Google "No Fear Pinball machines for sale."

They are available and the Pinball Company will sell you a new one for $6999.00.

Cool machine, wish it was more modern and all mx related for a theme.

I got a Metallica one months ago and other than riding moto, it’s a fun hobby!

In fact, they ain’t cheap.  A new one is the same as a new 450

Ya man, the prices are insane. I'd love to have my own pinball machine. There is a burger joint here in Cape Town which has about 10 machines. My buddy and myself will have a burger and a big mug of beer and then hit the machines. It can get intense as we both are so damn competitive by nature. This thread has given me the itch again....

Looks like the are a few older machines in your area perhaps in addition to the burger joint.

The cool thing is there are awesome new modern pinballs now with great themes, LED lights and video.

I have a old Williams pin ball machine my dad gave me from 1980. Not a desired board called Scorpion. It's main thing was it one of the first boards with two sets of flippers top n bottom.

I tried to fix it up and it worked great before. Cept for the drop targets starting to stay down and not pop back up.

I replaced all the rubber bits and decided to pull the board to try n clean up the drop targets.

I don't know what happened I was told I triggered an error. But when I plugged it back in is when it stopped working correctly.

I know very little about these or working on them so much. Now when it turns on it lights up n all but doesn't go into the proper mode. The mechanism that shoots out the ball into the ball release.

Just keeps like clicking half working I can get it to do the test modes and such. But I can't get it to go into a play mode pay or free. So I'm done with it the guys who work on them still. Want like $300 just to even come look at it.

Board is worth maybe 1400 my dad bought it for $300. Someone who knows these things can probably fix it easily. I just don't know how.

SmokinJoe, that sounds like a money pit!

These things aren’t cheap, but there is a ton of tech in them and very intricate.  The modern era games are damn good with LED’s etc…

The pinballs are very fun and surprisingly deep game play once you get into it.

It is probably is a money pit the thing now is the led update and updating the electronic motherboard to something newer they do with these things. Last I looked it was like $400 for an updated one. I even found the Rom file in some database.

My brother is big into pinball, hes got a half dozen in his basemnet, classic ones and new. He said he's played the No Fear pin a couple times and it's a good machine, brings about a mid-range price when they are sold for a pin of that vintage.

Pinball is alot like riding motorcycles, it's an analog experience that can't be replicated digitally. If you can get the fundamentals of the paddle control and gameplay down, they get way more fun.

I own one. It takes more skill than most older games i've played. I like the "jump" feature quite a bit. Also love the banter, it will say stuff like "second place is the first loser", "You have no fear", "your pretty good" etc.
