So we’ve been trying to sign up for contingency for over a month with no luck. Multiple tries on BluCru. Always says it’s been submitted and they’ll reach out with other questions if necessary. No automated email back. Phone calls go to a voice mailbox that’s full, emails go unanswered. Pretty over it at this point. Husky and Gas Gas are immediate setup on the website and good to go. Anyone else has issues with BluCru or just my luck?
Nope, same experience here.
I’ve been trying every few weeks to claim contingency money from a race back in April and still no luck. Thought it was just me.

No one else responded in the thread so I'm not sure. I was just told they were looking into it and I never circled back again with my contact.
Sorry I should’ve updated. Yamaha did reach out via email and confirmed we were good to go. Not sure why there’s not an automated email that says that? I really appreciate the help from you ML. Not trying to be a Karen but I do think they need to get their stuff together a bit. We’ve used both Husky and GG contingency in the past with zero hiccups. Heck I registered with GG on a Thursday and got contingency for a race the Sunday after.
Soooo…ML512 would you tell your contact to have Yamaha reach out to the rest of us trying/waiting since February on a reply or confirmation? Why is this so difficult to get ahold of a Yamaha rep!!
I thought it was just me having issues. No confirmation email after blu cru sign up, so I did a follow up by email but I have been waiting a few months for a response.
I would imagine this has a lot to do with Yamaha moving from California to Georgia... new staff and/ or not enough staff.
Yeah I'm trying to get my blu cru member ID. Previously collected contingency with the same bike but the website gives me nothing when I submit it for this year.
Man, this I not a startup company. They need to do some firing and hiring in a few departments for real.
I have tried to sign up multiple times since switching to the new YZ450F in May. It is frustrating and seems like false advertising. No problems getting KTM contingency this year, but I strongly dislike their current chassis.
I just tried, glad you posted this. Click the button and nothing happens after entering all your crap serial number and all, no email, nothing in spam. I was doing it for the Blu Cru invitational at Lazy River. Plenty of other places to race.
I emailed them and they said i should have received my card in April, but i never did. They also said i have 4 payments pending, but will not release payment until i turn in the w-9.
I have requested a new card and submitted my w-9 so we will see how long until i have my winnings. Lol
I’m waiting on 3 to be approved, mine and my 2 sons.
Having contingency programs would be sooo good.
