After riding, I stuck around to join the Ben Prasit Racing crew in Hua Hin for Songkran (Thai New Year). Since it was last minute and every place was booked up, I ended up sleeping in the cabin above the track.
Felt like home.
The view from the cabin
Fred Flintstone factory pit setup.
Cool property!
But you should visit tracks in the US before you claim the track is video game level.
I have made a conscious effort to limit my use of "should" or "but" (and try). It's completely changed my world for the better.
You should try it.
The Shop
Good luck with that! Seems like you are not very committed to your new self imposed rules.
I am committed to not dealing in absolutes. I appreciate the well wishes
I agree, there aren't many things at all that are absolute!
Would you consider this statement as dealing in absolutes? "It's completely changed my world for the better."
Track looks pretty fun, in a beautiful part of the world....
Leave the philosophy out, wow.
Thanks for sharing. Do they have races there? Are there a lot of Thai locals that ride?
Ive been watching this YouTube channel of an American cruising Thailand documenting the racing and autosports culture there. It looks pretty cool. But, the only motorcycle racing Ive seen are like 150cc or smaller and didnt notice any motocross.
I'm leaving this thread with a heavy contact high
I would.
After listening to Steven King’s book “On Writing” I am also doing away with adverbs.
Thanks for bringing this double whammy to my attention.
Perfection is an illusion.
You do you. I’ll do me
Dude, I was referring to everyone else
This track is the site of the 10th and final round of the FMSCT Thailand Championship, which I am racing. I believe it’s in August.
I am going to my first local race this weekend so I will get a better feel for it all. I believe there is a fair bit of local racing happening around the country quite often. And I’m sure there will be some 4 valve Honda Wave action.
What’s the channel? That’d be cool to check out.
My channel is documenting the motocross season and scene, although I have stalled out on the editing part lately.

Beautiful track and area. I would love to ride there.
CB Media. If you content is half as good as the crazy shit he shows these Thai guys doing, I will be a subscriber.
Place seems like a blast with a similar love for modifying anything with a motor that you see in the West.

Nice track, but it needs more water to keep the dust down.
Pit Row
Nice video. Subscribed. Is this you?
You are correct. The biggest area for improvement I see for the Thailand motocross world is in the watering department. I also recognize the challenges that exist.
Thai riders haul ass in the dust, that’s for sure.
I’ve said it a few times lately. It feels like what I imagine 70s or 80s in SoCal was like.
Quality production is what I am after so it’ll either be quiet or ramped up from where it’s at now.
Not me, I'm in Australia.
Commercial tracks do a good job watering here, club tracks not so much.
