I see Ben’s eldest lad won the 85cc class at junior worlds in Holland. His younger boy hauls the mail as well on all accounts.
Love seeing the sons of all these absolute legends following in their Dads footsteps.
I remember the summer of villopoto and townley battling on the kx250f's epic racing! Hopefully we get to see townley's son rip too
2007 125cc Class was probably one of the best seasons in AMA Motocross History. Only season that comes close is 2022 450 MX Season.
Yes sir. Villo v. Townley was epicness.
Wish Villo's kids were older so we could see it again when Townley's kid inevitably ends up racing in America.

anyone know the last time a japenese bike won the world 85 title, been a ktm group stronghold for a long time,
I've said it a bunch of times before, but no one before or since has ridden a 250f as fast as RV and Townley in 2007. They were ~200pts ahead of Josh Grant in 3rd place at the end of the season, and anyone who followed the sport back then knows JG was no slouch on a 250f.
Would have been interesting to see how BT would have gone on the HRC 450 had he not got injured!
Big fan of both…. But what about jett and deegs? Ferrandis and AC? ET and Kenny? Interesting topic. I guess townley and villo were pushing each so hard they went to another level.
Clearly nothing wrong with the yammy power wise as the young fella pulled a holeshot moto 1 I think it was…. Although no where near a stock bike. Interested to see how Levi’s next few years pan out.

Love BT’s approach with his kids, been cool to watch. Especially through Billy’s vlogs on IG haha They have something special going that group. Just normal kiwi’s who rip on bikes.

Big BT fan. That 2007 season was unreal. Remeber at high point he blew his front wheel out off the start in moto 1. Pitted they changed the wheel he came back to 10th. Moto 2 he won and got 3rd overall. Would have really like to see how he would have done when he was going to ride the 22 honda in MX that one season. He claims at that time he was in better form than he was in 2007
The cool thing is Levi looks kinda familiar on a bike compared to his dad!
Seems like those kids have a shot and go at it as BT also hints they want to do the EMX series in the future! Would be a cool story!

This was a really cool/wholesome moment, Levi waited to celebrate until his brother Jagger had crossed the line. Levi was holding the pitboard saying ‘world champion’ and Jagger dropped his bike to give him a hug
i think you should be more careful with this obsession you have, that you wish every fast non american rider in the world should take the americans jobs and the americans money......
from the looks of the it, there will be lots of trouble with imigration, and from October on things might get tough.....
if you keep jumping at every chance to show your preferences, it might get you in trouble.....
p.s. i can have a bit of that fun also......sarcasm is a very well known thing.......
