I’m selling a helmet on MX locker (and vital). A potential buyer put in multiple offers, some for the same amount? Buyer looks to be new with no feedback
Is this some sort of scam?
I don’t want this to be like eBay where buyer says they never got the item and I’m out a helmet and $$$$
Thoughts?!

It is odd but If they buy they have to pay MXMLocker before you ship.
Yeah I’m tracking to how the payment system works from MX locker and that does make me feel better knowing they get paid, then I get paid once it’s delivered.
I guess I just don’t know how MX locker is for siding with a buyer if they say sometime isn’t ’right’ (like eBay does).
They might just not know how the site works.
There are horror stories from sellers saying they shipped the item, then the buyer says it's not as described or didn't show u,p and then it's a whole battle between the 3 parties. Just be careful and trust your gut.

I've sold a few things there with no issues. You get paid when the buyer gives you a rating or two days after the delivery date whichever comes first.
Typically the buyer says its received and if not its 3 days after delivery but I did have 1 that I had to remind MXLocker time was up and they immediately sent payment.
Been selling through MXL for about 2 years with no problems.
This.
I'm one of those people. I wouldn't trip if I was the OP.
Thanks all for the response! Maybe I’ll reach out to the potential buyer to see what’s going on.
Ebay screws sellers over all the time this way. I am a Honda dealer, we sell GN4 oil on ebay. We sold a gallon of oil, buyer requests to return the oil a week later, saying that the oil was defective because it caused the crank rod to go through the cylinder. We tell the customer he needs to return the oil to get a refund. Customer sends back a envelope with a label in it. Ebay says this is acceptable and gives the buyer his money back, even though we never received the defective item back.
Amazon is terrible. I sell a ton on there and people will buy an item, say a pair of shoes then return a different pair of shoes w holes in them and amazon will refund the money. The dispute process is a pain in the butt and they usually side w the buyer.
...Never mind the fact that there's no possible way a gallon of GN4 caused his failure.
I had an issue with a seller on MX Locker and they took care of it, no problem. I bought a piston, the seller's profile stated he was in FL, but after the purchase, the seller messaged me with a pic of the tracking number and an explanation that he lives in Spain, sends parts to a forwarding service in Florida, and not to worry, I'll still get it in a week. I kinda felt like I just got screwed, but after a couple of weeks and not receiving the part, I reached out to the customer service team at MX Locker, they looked at what happened and refunded my money. Lo and behold, a few days later, the piston showed up and they reached out to me again asking if I wanted to send it back, or just reverse the refund.
Thanks for all the responses!
I messaged the interested buyer and he said MX locker site was glitching telling him the offers went accepted. So he kept putting in offers… which all went through.
Sounds legit and all good so I’ll be accepting the offer.
This happens to the business I work for frequently. Probably once a month. You need to call or start a chat with eBay. If you provide them evidence of the return envelope and post card they will treat you right. They have credited me every single time so far, and eBay ends up eating the transaction on their own.
Hey Lumpy when are those Triumph British racing green hoses going to be up on the website or if you could just drop them off at Chuck’s that’d be awesome too.
They are on our website and I will be back on Monday. Sitting in a Loves RV in eastern Alabama.
