Rmz kicks cold by not hot

Edited Date/Time 9/24/2024 5:22pm

Swapped a kdx 125 for a rmz 450 so idk what condition the 450 been left it but when I got the bike it seemed pretty good all round not to hard to start no bogging but then I was changing the plug and forgot to put the ht lead back in and kick it a bunch of times pretty hard and then i noticed. So I ran up to the garage and put the ht lead in and then it wouldn’t start at all I bump started it and it idled and ran perfect. I left the bike till the next morning it fired up first kick a couple time and I though this was good news until I remember I own a Suzuki . Been stuck will this problem of it kick starting cold and running fine and then cut it off and it won’t start up again unless I kick the kickstart really quickly

No need for another thread, there's plenty of suggestions in the other thread you started.

Have you checked your valve clearances yet?

Take it to a shop, after reading both your threads on the same subject its clear you are in over your head so save yourself some time and money by having someone who knows what they are doing fix it and so then we don't have to see you start another thread on it.

If he does that he is likely to find the reason the previous owner traded it. 😆

Trust me the trade was definitely in my favour 🤣

Even if it’s a Suzuki the Kx I had was not the bike for me
