What a hero and a hilarious interview. Who says riders don't have personalities? at around 58 minutes.

That was one of the best interviews I've heard in a while.

The fact he can openly talk about his crashes and be so down to earth and have a sense of humour about it was awesome

RJ is great, does anyone have his huge crash they didn’t show on tv in moto 3?

I wanted RJ over Chase anyway late in the summer. Chase has seemed to be in his own head way too much recently. It's a shame that RJ came in so banged up. He's a gd warrior that brings no complaints and no excuses.

You in 2022 probably: "Christian Craig should go over Justin Cooper"

After listening to the interview I felt pretty bad for him. Admittedly I was yelling “dammit RJ went RJ” at my tv last Sunday but honestly the guy gives it his all, stepped up, and rode wounded. Gotta respect and admire it. He’s been really solid this year and deserved the spot. What’s crazy to me is the incident that caused his injury. Aldons guys have been running this heart rate monitor for years with no problems until 3 days before MXDN 🤦🏼‍♂️

I felt bad for him thinking about all the people shitting on him. Knowing how hurt he was and how he didnt bow out. I hope people respect our athletes more.  We are too hard on all these guys
