Sorry to hear. Godspeed Mr. Reed…
Hardworking man who instilled good values in Reedy. Even though they clashed from time to time, you never forget great role models.
sorry to hear.....RIP

I don’t know how to word it properly, but it is kinda fitting that he was born and passed away on the 22nd
Not at all trying to be disrespectful or anything, the man raised a one of the best and toughest competitors our sport has ever seen.
RIP
Losing a parent is the hardest thing I’ve gone through to this point in my life. You literally have never been without them in your entire life until that day comes. Hoping the best for the Reed family during the healing process.
Too young, Too soon. RIP Mr Reed. My heart goes out to the family.
It’s my biggest fear. RIP Mr. Reed.
Agreed. Weather you lose a parent young or old, it’s just as hard in my opinion.
It sucks losing a parent at a young age, but I’m also relieved I didn’t have to see them get old because you always picture your father as your hero ya know.
Just went through it this past Wednesday with my mom. As the POA I had to make the very hard decision to call in Hospice and stop her suffering. No matter how much you prepare for this it is the worst feeling knowing they'll not be in your life. RIP senior Reed.
Bummer for the reed family and my heartfelt condolences. RIP Papa Reed.
social media posts like that are so weird to me.
Sad! to hear this, lost my Mother 2 years ago and it takes a lot to get over it if you're close to them, but it's the cycle of life and every one of us will experience it sometime in our lives. Just makes you realize to never take anything for granted and to appreciate your loved ones and spend good times with them as much as possible, because tomorrow is never guaranteed and you never know if Good-bye is the last one you'll get with them.
Exactly, The loss always hits harder when it’s sudden or unexpected too. I believe Mark Reed was only diagnosed with cancer three weeks ago.
Most know him as Chad’s Dad, but he was very active in the sport, particularly with junior racing and was instrumental in getting development classes added to pro races and also with setting up the old Aussie Super X series. He’ll certainly be missed by many.
