Anyone able to refer me to a good dirt bike mechanic in that area?. My brother has a KLR with stuck floats. He's a cook and is not comfortable tearing the carb apart. He is willing to pay, and even add some service like oil change etc to make it worht the right guys time. but he has just had a horrible experience at Josh Mott racing.

I would be surprised if RG3 there would work on a KLR. To easy to work on. LOL. But seriously, they may not. There is Braap Suspension. He is a Race Tech center and RT has great products for the KLR. Emulators are a great product. And I would have to assume that they or others have a drop in cartridge setups
On a related note...how are they RG3? I thought the original company went out of business. Did they just buy the name and any exclusive technology (Smart Valves). I was in negotiations with them way back in 2006 or so to take over the failed PNW branch but backed away and it went to Motion Sports in Couer d'Alene (now Big4). They wanted some big bucks to get set up.
RG3 has multiple shops, I believe it’s kinda like a franchise now. I think Rob gave up trying to keep the Anaheim shop going, with being so busy testing with teams.
He still has his website up, but no information on there.

RG3 went big time into auto racing. Their MX market is not their main focus any longer. I’ve had 2 bikes done by RG3 back in the day and they were incredible.
