AC needs to go, he's had more opportunity than most and hasn't delivered and dont think he ever will so maybe its time he was given his walking papers. Potential is great when you are young and on the way up but if you cant stay healthy and deliver results then they will get someone who will. Sad

Why does AC NEED to go? He’s a top 10 guy no matter which way you slice it and he’s extremely popular with the fans. Do you think a top 10 guy doesn’t deserve a factory ride?? I for one wishes everyone making mains consistently could be at least factory supported. Now you wanna start pulling support from guys consistently finishing inside the top 10?? Wow.

He's not even close to being even the fastest Kawasaki rider, sorry it hurts your feeling but if you don't produce results they will move on with out him. Being a nice guy and great with the fans is nice but he's not paid to be nice, maybe moving to a smaller team or a new team might give him a new spark but he is injury prone so who knows.

For all downvotes, you are correct. Especially at Kawi - they don’t play!

If Kawasaki doesn't pick Ty Masterpool up for 2024...they are massive idiots. Either one of the current team members could easily be dropped to make room for Masterpool. Both are on the decline.

That is all.

If you could go back and do that with 99% of your posts here…that would be just great.

This is the definition of ignorance.

No dude. You're ignorant. You're ignoring the write off clause in the tax code. They all write off their losses. I do it too. I'm an independent business man. Every interaction with your dumb posts is a write off for me. Thank you for saving me cash.

All these big companies...they just write it off. Hire Masterpool and just write it off.

Bro.....you're lost.  Explain it to us?

I'm starting to feel bad because I think you're missing the classic Seinfeld/Kramer joke I was putting down. I didn't mean to ruffle any feathers, it was aimed at the other guy you were debating that felt Kawasaki could easily throw out cash prizes to Ty like it was free and they could just write it off their endless budget.

Please continue with you're regularly scheduled programming now..

Read my prior response again and then explain to me again how "write off" means unlimited cash.  I am sure if you are a "business man" (grammar) you understand that although you can write off mileage for example......that the only thing you are saving is the income tax associated with that $ amount.  It doesn't give that $ back to you.  This is hilarious on numerous levels and I appreciate the comedy today sir.

I can't believe I'm stepping into this POS...  "Write Off" is a business term or phrase, not actually accounting.  "I'm giving up on this investment or asset, so I'm writing it off" means that you are taking an expense lowering your profits (and usually tax basis).

What we're referring to here with Masterpool is should Kawi add the additional expense to their race team?  Remember the big 3 are HUGE manufacturing giants and their motorcycle divisions are only part of it.  Having been part of the financial end of a race team, I believe NO race team makes money.  That's why we only see huge manufacturers and rich individuals who love moto supporting them.  The manufacturers hope the racing spurs R&D development which increases new bike sales and the rich get to rub shoulders with the sport's stars until they get bored.

Corporations make budgets for all of their divisions and the motorcycle division would have to tell corporate they need more money to adjust their budget mid-year.  If they could prove it will improve their bottom line (profits), then  they'll get the money.  Ty is a "blue bird" for Kawasaki and making them money without costing them anything.  Sadly, corporations have no soul or compassion, they exist only to make money : )

Can you tell me how the “write off” saves you more money than what you actually spent?  Love the whole “you can just write it off” tirade as if “writing it off” puts money in your pocket.  If I am wrong please enlighten me as I have been trying hold on to as much of my check as possible but after many many years, Uncle Sam always wins!
