Deegan had nothing to do with Smith not making the main..... so you're right, it's good that he didn't use that as an excuse.

Nothing? That's letting Deegan off a bit too easy I would say. He certainly didn't need to jack with his own teammate in a heat race. I don't think many would say that Smith comes unglued and takes himself out of the main without that nudge.

I mean he crashed 2 more times, then again in the LCQ. It's like saying someone didn't win the main because they got pushed wide in the heat

Smith has had a decade long career filled with crashing.  That's what we saw Saturday night as well.

The dude has ridden for every major factory 250 team and on every one he has crashed and crashed some more.

I guess you could blame Deegan for "rattling him" but history shows that Smith doesn't really need any help to crash himself out of races.

Unfortunately that's spot on. You can't argue with the facts. That heat race was a dumpster fire, absolutely, but ultimately Jordon's night ended with "a tiger doesn't change his stripes" theme.

you guys act like jordon smith hasn't completely sucked chode for like 5 years straight. not even sure why he keeps getting factory rides. dude needs to be on phoenix racing at this point.
