I was watching old MX vids and thought about how Micky is doing after his bike accident in 2019. Just curious 👍
Here’s a link to his Road 2 Recovery
He raced a big vet event in Italy back in November. All the big hitters were there: Glover, Sun, Stanton, LaPorte, etc.
I was watching in on YouTube and was (pleasantly) surprised to see his name on the results list. I thought I was seeing things and checked his Instagram and sure enough, it was him.
He's doing great.
This was a few weeks ago
Awesome! Thanks for the update 👍
Amazed at the progress he’s made. It looked pretty dark for awhile.
That’s awesome news. As a local OC guy I used to love watching him rip OCIR and Saddleback work his way through the ranks and then go on to represent with all the big boys. I was bummed when I heard he broke a piece off.
Oh yeah Free Lou S!

I remember seeing him during his time on HRC. He rode as awesome as he looked and had style. Great guy too. So glad to hear he's doing better!!
Micky is doing well. He works for the company that handles stages, lighting, towers, etc for the big events, like the Superbowl halftime show. When he got home from that last week he was super-excited to ride his new Bianchi road bike that his partner got him. The dude loves to pedal!
Always loved that guy.
The epitome of coolness.
Since we are in Yorba Linda and I believe he grew up here, the local Mexican food restaurant was the place we saw him on occasion. It's been awhile.
Yep I grew up in Yorba Linda also my sister went to high school with him and I used to ride BMX with his younger brother Ricky last time I saw him was at a bowling alley buy Camelot LOL happy to hear he's doing good👍
I only wish Micky was more present on Podcasts/Vids etc. I'm a big fan and would love to hear his takes on a variety of topics. The few published audio/video interviews with him suggest that he's got some valuable insights.
Funny you said that, he just did this one.... i've only listened for a couple of minutes, but it's good so far.
Always a fan of Mickey D
Have a jersey of his from Silverdome back in the 80's (Or was it 90'?)
Poke with him when he was at Pikes Peak hill climb.
Like most if not all, He is down to earth good dude.
