I’ve got a 2002 KX 125 with stock suspension. What’s everybody running for these 125s? Swapping the suspension or newer springs? TIA

Best set up right now that I've found is keeping the outer tubes and lowers and having a mx tech luck cartridge put in it. Comes with springs and valved for you. The newer suspension swaps give a lil harsher ride due to being set up for aluminum frames and faster bikes.

I would think that Enzo would still be a really good option for a revalve.

You should always start with springs for your weight, forks and shock. Remove or disable the fork bladders. Buying a Gold Valve kit will teach you about revalving. If you do, you can easily make base valve changes by laying the bike on its side with the bottoms of the forks up to keep the oil from pouring out. Compress the front end a few inches with a tie strap from the hub to frame/bars. Then you can just remove the base valves.

I'm a motocross suspension tuner, I've done (and still do) a lot of KX 125.
There is a way to do something good with the original suspensions, of course having the right springs is already the basis of good suspensions, from there .... you can already be a little more precise on the behavior of the hydraulics and know what you want to change.
important thing also on your fork (open cartridges) adjust the oil level well, my riders like to ride this bike with 90mm of air chamber above the oil.

Run a well tuned base and mid in the forks with sub tanks, and a well tuned shock with a piggyback nitro cannister. Correct springs front and rear, and you'll have a fun bike.
