Picked up this new fmf pipe for my cr125. Came
From Blackfoot Honda’s eBay store, was pretty cheap so I snatched it up. Was listed as a 2002-2003 cr125 factory pipe. But it appears to be
Modified or more then just a off the self pipe. It’s hand engraved CR125 FF+8 on the pipe mount. And has a brace on the stinger. Pretty cool non the less.
Anyone know anything about it? Possibly a left over race pipe from their early 2000’s race team? I emailed fmf and person I spoke to insisted it was a repaired off the self pipe, But off the self pipes are stamped with the model number.

Maybe made to work with the 94 HPP cylinders that everyone was using for a while(pretty sure that's what they were using)? I believe Tractor might have more info on it

That does not look off-the-shelf with that extra weld in the middle. My wild guess is FF+8 means Factory Fatty with 8mm added where they cut it in the middle.

My guess:

FF +8 = Factory Fatty with 8mm added to the flange (manifold that mates to cylinder) and was meant to be used with the HPP cylinder. The older cylinder required a different pipe length (longer).

Awesome info guys. The addition is right about 8mm so I guessed the same. I already have a hpp cyl swap and it’s gonna need a little tweak to fit. Just like my 02 fatty did.
