I just media blasted my swing arm and looking for recommendations of over the counter products that protect against corrosion. Please note I need corrosion protection and not just something to make it look shiny. Maybe something that can be used in marine applications.

I wonder if a ceramic treatment like done on cars would do the trick?

Spray it with crc every so often. Treat it like a works raw pipe.

I was wondering the same thing but have no experience with ceramic coatings.

Clear coat out of a spray can works great. Been using it for decades with no corrosion afterwards.

Find a local gun shop near you that does cerakote and have them spray it with Clear Cerakote, or buy a cheap spray gun and do it yourself. The MC-5100 Clear is air-cure so it’s pretty simple to use.

I tried that. Swing arm was too big for their blast cabinet. They said I could get it blasted elsewhere but he still wanted $100 to spray it so that's not going to happen. I'm looking for something off the shelf I can do at home.
