When putting the rear suspension back in my bike, what should I use to grease/lube the bolts.

Waterproof Marine Grease (The same as I used for the bearings)

or

Silver Anti-Seize (The stuff with a brush on the inside of the lid)

Both will change the torque requirements, particularly the anti seize. Be prepared to pull threads.
Check out the ARP website and see the difference in torque required using oil vs. moly paste.

So you just put the bolt in totally dry??? Seems like she wouldn’t like that too much.

They are built that way at the factory unless the manual specifies.

Use grease on everything and adjust your torque accordingly for the greased threads vs. dry. If you grease the threads and under the bolt/nut head, then you'll need to lower the torque by 40% or so.

Alternatively you can grease everything, except the threads and under the bolt/nut head (whatever is turning) and leave those dry. Then use the regular torque published in the manual.

Nothing on the threads. Waterproof grease on the shaft.

That’s what I was looking for.

Very light coat of silver anti seize on most threads.

Exactly what I do. With as much crap these bikes are exposed to and pressure washes. I want to keep corrosion at bay so I grease every bolt I take out before going back leaving the threads dry for spec torquing. Except for body fasteners and seat fasteners that come out often. I grease the whole bolt for easy removal and install since they come out often. I don’t spec torque those anyhow I just run them in a snug them up with the T handle. Chassis and engine bolts should always be torqued to exact manual specs.

Going to get a lot of answers but for what it’s worth, I watched a video a couple years ago about the factory kawasaki rig. The mechanic was prepping all bolts for reassembling one of the bikes and he had a paint brush and was brushing grease on every single bolt. After watching that vid I put a tiny bit on it but have ocd and still struggle and obsess over torque and whether I should grease or not to this day haha.
