Lock on Grips

So I really like regular Protaper pillow top grips. So I started running the lock on pillow tops. I love how they never come loose but they seem thinner than the regular pillow tops. Can anyone recommend a little thicker lock on grip?

Don't know a thicker brand but ODIs are as thin or thinner just an fyi.

I second the ODI Rogue. Soft and plush. Thicker than the standard ODI lock-on.

All the lock ons I’ve tried have an inner pvc tube and a thinner rubber layer so the outer diameter matches a standard grip. The throttle side is usually tolerable, but clutch side always feels too rigid. I’ve got back to conventional grips with safety wire and they are plenty secure

The size difference between standard and lock-on Pillow Tops is a well known huge miss from Pro Taper. Many guys have assumed they'd be the same size and been sorely disappointed to discover that for some reason Pro Taper made the lock on version the skinniest grip ever. They really screwed this one up.

Are standard pillow tops pretty thick? I wear XL gloves and have always liked the full waffles for the added diameter. May have to try pillow tops if they are packing extra girth hahaha.

Yep, the original glue on Pillow Tops are thicker and a favorite of people who like a bigger grip.
