I have always dreamed of having a bike that i personally built with all the parts i have ever dreamed of having. Well working in the industry for the past two years defiantly helped with the cost of this build and it was finally feasible for me to afford to build my bike..I started out with my 2011 crf250 with around 110 hours that i personally put on there..needless to say she was pretty clapped out and was completely stock. This fall i purchased a used 4.1 carbon aluminum fmf and megabomb header off a buddy for 300$..he had a brand new Ti blue can with carbon tip that he wasn't using anymore so i traded him my apple watch for it and even got the full coverage skid plate with it as well..i also purchased a vortex x10 ignition off of him for $300

Here are some before pictures of the frame and whole bike itself...

Cleaned up frame and wire harness

during the build i discovered that i needed a new bottom end..luckily to some great support that i have i picked up a wrench rabbit kit for $400..as i was rebuilding the bike i realized i had some leaky valve seals and decided to go and have my head built during that process i actually picked up a part time job labor for labor job with the engine builder and decided i might as well build a full race head for my bike...here are some before pictures of my head...

and here are some after shots of my head and throttle body..

DLC Cam buckets...Del west no dish intake valves..were modified before put in but no pictures of them...

Proof of my Graphics i had made by a buddy that works for HBD Motografx in daytona beach..

All buttoned up..

And here are some pics of everything put together with graphics

We also loaded a few custom maps for my vortex so it'll start with a light half kick for XC racing also set the TPS...This week we are pulling the motor and surface finishing all my internal parts for smoother shifting etc..

They bolt right up. i found it best to use a cycra plate because the stock plate fits a little different on the clamps

Some new photos with some triple clamps i bought here off vital with some sexy shop in the background. cases are split at the moment getting transmission micro-polished a service we do in house. while I'm at it i will have all my internals polished, cam, springs, valves, might possibly do ceramic bearings on transmission side, hinson cover also going on as well, still trying to decide on a carrillo long rod and balanced crank to finish the motor out.

Is that a Brembo front master cylinder I see there? I have been wanting to do this to my bike for a while, and always wondered how much of a difference it would make. I love the build though, looks very well done and just keeps getting better! Thanks for sharing it with us!
