I'm a news junkie.
The Shop
For national news, I get the headlines from cnn.com, and msn.com. I don't "watch" the news...ever. Okay, not ever...if I have nothing better to do, BBC is always what I'll watch...for the accents, mostly. But that very very very seldom happens. Only TV I watch is History Channel, Nat Geographic, TLC, Animal Planet, Discover, moto racing and the Bachelorette (dude, don't judge me....have you SEEN Emily Maynard? holy smokes!!!!! and !!!!).

I also regularly listen to about 5 different podcasts and follow 3 different forum sites akin to Vital.
Im not saying any of these are the most credible. But I have friends that are WAAAY into this shit and they really get into fact checking who is dis-information and who isnt. FYI, they think WikiLeaks is suspect as well as RT News... And they certainly dont follow anything the BBC is spitting out. They find Alex Jones to be the most credible. And Im not joking when I say that my friends look for ANY reason to discredit a news source they follow. Some of the stuff from that first list is pretty extreme.
In my personal opinion, I think one needs to get their info from multiple sources on multiple continents as well as checking multiple chat boards to hear what real people are seeing and talking about. I dont think it's possible for a person to REALLY ever know what is going on behind the scenes but with a broad spectrum from which a person gets their information, things get somewhat into focus.

I guess I don't have to tell you I'm highly disappointed in all of you.
Imagine if all of Vital MX could meet up at the same bar every weekend to watch the races?
But Im with Cygnus, the less I pay attention to the news, the happier I am

Other than that I flip between Sky and BBC.
For what its worth.
That's what it seems like to me....obviously if they polled registered democrats the numbers would look drastically different.
It's "Wayne Madsen". I'll introduce you if you ever come to DC. We drink a lot of Guinness.
But it strikes me that you should throw in some mainstream news, because those people are all "confirmation" news sources for you, if you know what I mean. They are confirming what you believe to be true.
Thanks for the offer. I'll take you up on it if Im ever in DC.
