Been playing my axe quite a bit more lately since we have three feet of snow on the ground still and got me thinking that there has to be other Vitards with guitards

So, let see your Guitar(s)!

Here's my Les Paul:

I'll grab some photos of the rest of my collection when I get home tonight

I have a Fender and a Dean Metal Master, I suck ass though. Only thing in my life I've tried and well just can't play. (chords at least) but I don't devote enough time either to get the muscle memory for the ol fingers.

Hell yeah! That thing will be worth some money someday, don't ever sell it!! I believe that was probably made in the same factory that the Les Paul's used to be made in, which is still being used today under the Heritage brand name. Obviously located in Kalamazoo, MI lol.

I have an old Les Paul (72) and a MIM Strat, which I really like to play. I made a commitment to myself yesterday to get back on the guitar and start playing again. Today, a screw, a Chinese fucking screw, slipped off the phillips bit and I drove the bit into the end of my left, middle finger. A bit of a postponement I guess. I will post a pic of the Paul when I get a chance this evening. Everybody has seen MIM Strats.

My brother is an occasional Vitard. He has an old 60's Paisley Telecaster. Got it for chump change back in the 80's.

Been played hard. Bit of a story behind it too. I have a picture taken of me back in in '73 I think, playing at a big hall . I took some pictures of my son playing at a club in Santa Ana when he was 17. Probably 35 years later. We were both playing this guitar. I put the two pictures together. Kind of cool. I'll see if I can find it. I think I posted it here before.

Thanks man! I believe Silvertone was manufactured by a couple different companies (Danelectro being one of them) for distribution through the Sears & Roebuck catalogs. So essentially, yes. Jimmy Page made them famous Cool

You guys need to put more info with these beauties for those of us not in the know. I have no idea if they are rarities or dime store junk. They sure look good though.

My first photo is just a standard Les Paul from the late 90's I believe (dad gave it to me a couple years ago) with a set of Seymour Duncan Jazz Humbuckers which give it an awesome deep tone, especially when you put decent strings on it.

The second one I posted is my Danelectro, which is only like a $400 guitar. They're a semi-hollow body that has a very unique sound to it. They re-released these back in 2007-ish, and I was lucky enough to get the chance to pre-order one. The day after it came in, they were selling online for about $1000. It's the cheapest guitar I own (besides the cheapo 3/4 scale one I got when I was 3), but it's my favorite one. It's pretty easy to make a cheap guitar sound expensive, but it's not so easy to make an expensive guitar sound cheap (if that makes sense). After I saw this for the first time, I had to have one:

My 88 Fender American made HM Strat
some year Telecoustic(fun to jam on with kids)
Fender showmaster HH. I found this guitar in a guitar center used for $250.00 I sold my PRS custom 24 after buying this. It is really the only electric Iplay anymore. I keep the HM because it was my first "REAL" guitar.

This was my high school graduation present from the parents, a Les Paul Melody Maker in TV Yellow. Another not-so-expensive guitar from the collection that just so happens to be one of the nicer sounding guitars I own. It's tough to tell from the photo, but it's actually more mustard yellow than it looks here:

This was my dad's first guitar from when he was a little grom, an Epiphone from the early 60's I believe. I can't remember the model name, but this thing has a ton of character to it. The finish is starting to peel away slowly, all the hardware is starting to get a little bit of rust, but the tuners, pickups, bridge, neck, and frets are all still in awesome shape:

One I built for my wife but I play it most of the time in rotation with some of my others. Flame maple neck, back and sides, sitka top and a Kent Armstrong floating humbucker.

It sounds great. It's one done by Kent himself, not one of the Asian ones. This was the first of 7 archtops I've built. Working on some flat tops right now. Lots of different things on the build list. Good thing I'm not on a schedule.

Here's one I did with flame maple and Bolivian rosewood neck and quilt maple back and sides. Quilt maple is a bear to carve without chipping!

Well, I have posted mine up before. But I can't find the photos and I can't take new ones because they are packed up for trying to move.

I have a Limited Edition Gibson korina Explorer and Flying V. I also have a red G&L SC-3.
