Rower, i feel like it mimics the motions and movements from moto much more closely, and its incredibly effective at working your whole body.

So many different routines you can do as well. Sprints, intervals, steady longer rows, its brutally effective.

My gym has the ski ergs and rowers and i choose the rowers every time.

10-4. I don’t moto, but I appreciate what your saying. I water ski and I’m 35 and wanting to keep the heart healthy. Thanks for the input

I use both all the time. For straight cardio I would choose the rower, I think it more directly taxes your cardio than the ski erg which is more muscular endurance for me.

No doubt, been in back in school the past two and half years and the workouts have faded. Last summer on a slalom ski was depressing how out of shape is gotten. I just graduated so I’m ready to get back right

I have a Rogue Echo bike. I like it because it has the flexibility to do upper body only, upper and lower body or as a stationary bike.

For the cost, you could get a gym membership for like 6 years and have access to a lot of other equipment. Planet Fitness, Gold’s Gym and several other gyms in my area have basic memberships for $10/mo, and most are open 24/7. I go to Planet Fitness because it’s the closest to my house. Worth looking into IMO, but I get why you’d want some equipment at home if the commute to nearest gym is too long.

10 a month! Fuck, most gyms here are 15 a week!!!

I bought a concept 2 second hand, 400 bucks, love it. Also have kettlebells, bench, squat rack and a bunch of weight. Having a home gym is awesome but takes space!

I do Crossfit...(Flame suit on Silly )

So everything from 20s sprints, to 20-30min of constant use. If I threw the echo bike in the mix and had to pick one for my house, I would pick the Echo bike, then Rower, then Ski Erg.

$160/mo?? Where are you at? That’s crazy! My wife was only paying $12/wk for unlimited kickboxing classes, and that included kickboxing coaches. I’ve never seen a regular gym cost over $40/mo, and the most I’ve paid is $35/mo. My current Planet Fitness membership is $23/mo just because I went with the Black Card so I could bring a guest(my stepson) and use other Planet Fitness locations when I travel.
