LA Autoshow photo gallery

I went to the LA Autoshow last week with my father in law, and we had a good time, snapping pictures of some of the most exotic and rare cars in the world! I saw one of my favorite supercar, the new Nissan GTR, as well as the new and improved 370Z which I'm really excited about (I owned a 350Z for 2 years and had sooooo much fun with it), I also laid eyes on the very rare Gumper, a 750HP street legal race car that weights as much as a mini cooper!!!

The Nissan GTR is a bad ass car. I saw one for the first time on the freeway in Dallas a few days ago.

Maybe because the GTR actually LOOKS good?...and it's almost 40K cheaper.

I have to say tho, the new ZR1 looks pretty damn sweet! But it's still a vette...and to many people, corvettes aren't really "exotic supercars"?!? I don't I don't get really excited about a new vette.

'been feeling pretty good. I have been riding at Speedworld here in AZ, trying to have fun. Last time I rode there I had a good time, and I'm gonna start riding every weekend I think.

You Corvette guys always forget that the engine might have been Lotus designed (which in and of itself is a bit frightening), but it's built by a boat company. That there is a Mercury Marine engine. At least they finally put a set of brakes on the new Z06 and ZR1. Now if only they'd get into the mid 80's and get rid of the leaf spring suspension....

It's kind of hard to forget when you own one. The block and the heads were also casted right here in Texas. Anyone that knows off shore racing knows that Mercury Racing builds some of the best race engines in the world. They have a long list of national and world off shore championships to their credit.

The LT5 engine is no exception and has proven to be absolutely bullet proof. It can run 7,000rpm all day long. BTW, that's my car in the pic.

that SLR is the best looking car you took a pic of. I'm not a huge fan of the SLR, but that one is unreal.

I'm a big fan of the Audi R8 and the DBS Aston Martin. I think those are the best looking cars on the road right now.

everyone thinks the 599 Ferrari is so great, but i think they look like shit and when you drive them, you feel like your sitting all propped up and funky + they were going for 200k over sticker until the last 2-3 months.

as for the GTR -- wait 'till the Cadillac CTSV comes out in March. it's going to eat almost every supercar for lunch hitting 0-60 in 3.9 seconds.


it also set the track record so it's not joke at $68,000.00


I had a Porsche twin turbo that did 3.9 and it was a rocket ship.

I'm surprised the new retro Dodge Challengers don't seem to be moving well (unless it's just in this area). See a handful lined up at the dealership, but I've only seen one on the streets. Look much better than the retro 'Stangs I think. Thought they'd be all over the place by now.
