Some might say a boring race, but I think it was interesting, ferrari is coming!,as is Williams, kimi's radio communications were great, I liked when my man button passed Freddy then punted Maldonado off the track, jenson is my favorite driver, glad to see both MacLaren's finish tho, poor ricciardo, what a horrible start, still smiling at the interviews, great attitude, did anyone notice the blood diamonds in hambone's earlobes? He did drive a good race, hey JW381 you're a history major?

Just watched the race, I not in denial anymore, Lewis is a better driver then Nico, there I said it, doesn't mean I like it, I knew kimi had had something this weekend, I think Ferrari are only going to get stronger as the season moves on, same with Williams they just need a little more, poor jenson button I feel for the guy, good race overall, with Nagl winning trentono good day for the iceman! Now going to watch motoGP

Oh man I'm sorry moto-moto, long weekend racing, I did this before with the ricciardo/top gear thing, I just finished motogp, the good doctor still has, no hard feelings moto-moto, I stayed off Oscottie's post for that exact reason, again sorry man

i was in Germany racing all weekend, missed it all, was racing for the ferry , and the Mrs decides it would be a good idea to show the RV loopout pic to my son sat in the back.... it got very loud, and then the rest of the trip was very quiet..

I managed to watch all of the MXGP and Moto GP AND the Santa Clara SX on Monday night , without knowing the results of any of them..... and i managed to keep a podium spot warm at the weekend too.. happy days.

Glad you had a good weekend racing, I'm always racing for the ferry also, as I don't live in New England, I miss all the weekend stuff and catch up on monday as well, formula one is off for 2 weeks so that will be easy on the DVR

11 hour drive home was a bust, but i managed to catch all of Bahrain Quali on German TV , Gerhard Berger is one of their experts , and he really knows what he is talking about.. possibly . Quite why i turned it up , i have no clue.

When you bookend a race weekend with a ferry trip , it kind of adds a level of stress you really dont need, we raced at 3.30, done by 3.55, in the car and hauling by 4.05 . Got home at 2.45am.

This weekend is a commentary job, away from friday till sunday, trying not to find out MXGP results, which will be real hard as the boy is going.

My boat rides are nothing compared to yours, they're just an hour and a half, I have taken the ferry from leharve to cork Ireland that was some dicey stuff, and from Portsmouth to leharve, it was never that easy getting around the continent back then before the borders were open, but nice to hear your living the moto life also!

Ours are only 2 hours, but its the fact that you have to drive 4 hours each side , and the last ferry is 10pm , and the next is 2am.. puts the pressure on.

Done Portsmouth Le Havre a few times , but its freight only now i think , the Channel tunnel killed the ferries , but id rather take a break on the boat and get some food. Cheap flights make it possible like never before too, i can fly to Berlin form the UK for less than it costs to park my car at the airport.

Ferries to Ireland are always rough, Irish sea is bad , even when its good.

Got a trip to the Czech Republic in august, looking forward to that.

Mclaren will be lucky to get any points at all, the car is so far off, in all departments , that its just not going to turn round any time soon... 4 races in and im half expecting the 'concentrating on next years car ' already.

The motor is way off and so are all the other power bits, too much to do and only so much scope in the rules and time to do it.

McLaren are optimistic that they can make further progress up the Formula 1 grid at this weekend's Spanish Grand Prix, with Honda having prepared power unit updates in an effort to improve "driveability and reliability".
