Colorado if full of stupid ass dog owners! Every night Denver local news had a dog story of some kind or another on their nightly news program.

I hear you Rat. I was mtb'ing last week and some lady's german shepard who was off it's leash charged toward me and jumped into me and my bike. Knocked me over but I managed to get unclipped and caught the fall. I punched that mutt right square in it's nose! The lady actually was very pissed at her dog and really deeply apologized to me.

I used to carry a little Colt 25. Nobody in the country fenced up their dogs unless they were hunting dogs. I only had to shoot one of them; the rest were usually scared away by a warning shot.

I'm a dog guy myself, and know how to take care of one and how to make sure it doesn't shit all over the place. Nothing worse than an irresponsible dog owner.

Was just talking with mom and she was telling me of something she caught on the news about some Marine(?) not sure where (maybe afganistan) who was filmed throwing a small dog or puppie off a cliff. That should go over big on the World news.

I used to ride around 20-30 miles 5 times a week. I had one loop that I loved, the only problem was a HUGE Rottweiler. It had a big chain, but it would always run at me and scare the shit out of me. One day as I was riding past, it came running, but broke it's chain. I had to really peddle my ass off to get away from it. It was snapping and growling. The next day I was doing the same loop and when I started to get close, I had my 380 auto out...I passed the house and didn't see the dog. About 1/2 mile past the house I saw something laying in the ditch...as I got closer I could see. It was that son-of-a-bitch laying dead. It had been hit by a car. I had to smile as I rode past. My thinking was, imagine if it had been some kids walking by that house that day...


Why have dogs like that?

When I was a kid, I had a Boston Terrier that hated anything with 4 legs. He used to ride on my back either on a Bicycle, or my unicycle. I used to take him to the park near our house to run around, and there was always this fucking mongrel dog that used to chase every kid who rode by, and the owners never seemed to care. Because of this, I'd have to stop at the end of the block, grab Jiggs off my back, and carry him past thier house in case "Rascal" was out.

Well one day while unicycling by Rascal came charging out after us. The owners were out doing yard work. That S.O.B. was giving my right foot the what for, and Jiggs was going nuts wanting at him. The owners never even looked up, so I just dropped ole Jiggsey right on the little bastard's back.

Jiggs kicked the dogs ass in the street, it got away, Jiggs caught him in the yard and kicked his ass some more. The dog got away again and ran for the opened front door, and Jiggs ate his ass up inside his own house.

I finally got him out of there, and the owners were threatening to call animal control, I gave them my number and said "Please do".

Funny thing is, Rascal chased everyone but me after that....I miss Jiggs.

Engine won't poison them, I think.
