Anyone have any experience with them?
I just picked up a 06' Single cab 2wd for 5K, it had just under 90K miles on it.
Picked it up as a little moto truck, anything I should look out for?

That's cheap. That's about what they sell for at the auction if not more. You got a steal if it's a good truck. I would buy that same truck at the auction for probably 6500 then plus reconditioning costs and then slap it on the lot for $12,000-$13,000.

It use to be a Comcast truck I believe by the key chain I got with it.
Cloth interior, Hand Roll windows, no power locking but a kick ass AC.
I believe its the 2.8 (P4 Model)
Automatic.
All white, tires are decent, some scratches but its just a moto truck after all.
No major dents, just a tiny one above the front driver side tire that you can only see at the right angle.

This will sound fucked up but, I bought an 06 4x4 Colorado from a widow. It had 12K on it in 2010 and I paid only $10,500. The poor old hag had been holding on to this since 2007 when her old man died. I had her daughter convince her to sell it. Worked and I got a good deal and a great truck.

Lesson: The next time you go to a wake say to the family. "Sorry for your loss.......how much do you want for the pick-up"

Edmunds Forum where people complain about their Colorados

Reading through the posts at the Edmund site it sounds like the biggest snafu with earlier Colorados is electrical issues. Read through those posts and you can foresee the possible problems your truck may have, or might have already had.

I have an 10 Colorado and I love it.

Electrical issues are the typical problem today in many vehicles. Every sensor seems to have a sensor which occasional isn't sensing very well.

You must really like your brother. That's a $500 - $1000 truck around here.

The blue book is $1900 around here. You could say I'm getting hosed for $350 dollars in finance charges. Smile He should work for Bank of America.

That's what I was thinking. I have a 94 4x4 with 177,000 and would be lucky to get 2000.00.

Great trucks, but some had valve seat trouble. Call you dealer and check on Document ID: 2209354 .

Not sure if the link below will work for you (may have to copy and paste) but it should give you an idea of what is going on.

Other than this and the brake lamp switch recall, we have little to no trouble out of the Colorados.
