I didn't Google anything motorcycle gang related, street bikes, motorcycle rallies, or anything related to any of those things and I got the following earlier this month:

Yours could've have shown up if you read some news articles or because you talked about the topic. Stupid phones listen all the time.

I got the same ad Mav. It’s Google’s algorithm, it sees you're on a motorcycle website(Vital) and assumes that ad is relevant.

They also serve ads based on your network, not just your device. So if someone sharing Georgie’s WiFi looked up politics, he’ll get an ad for it.

Saw on Reddit where a guy was getting ads for yeast infection medication. Couple days later he goes to the bathroom and noticed some yeast infection medication. Apparently his female roommate was looking up yeast infections, and since they shared the same WiFi network he was getting ads for it.

I'm dumb as a brick but I see signs on businesses and homes that say, "NO SOLICITING" and "POST NO BILLS". I always thought those were a legal notice backed up by city/county/state ordinance or law. I believe it's time for the internet to be regulated in the same way. Yeah, I know it's money.

I guess the Google nerds aren't smart enough to differentiate street motorcycles from dirt bikes, so motorcycles just all get lumped together.

Still pretty funny getting an Hells Angels ad. Rules they must follow Grinning

Mav's only got 17 kilos of smack left to sell for his patch.
He does have his community destruction sash filled so it's all he has left. We here at H.A.Ca are so proud of him.

What about youtube view history? Do you watch political clips or ben shapiro type stuff on there? I have never seen a political ad on vital and that is very refreshing. I'll often click on vital moto related ads that I am interested in but have no intention on buying just to help the algorithm and get some click revenue for the site.

While search history and other interest parameters are usually the culprit for the type of ads you see, for the next 55 days or so, political ads will dominate the digital landscape based on the sheer number of their media buys.

All that inventory has to go somewhere so you probably fit into a VERY broad definition, such as "Male, between 35 and 60" or it was simply a geo-target based on your IP (for example, if you live in a traditionally red state)

I own a digital agency and my client campaigns are starting to slow way down in terms of performance and conversions due to the large amount of political ads dominating the online space.

I keep getting ads for Swedish-made enlargement pumps. I don't know why.

If you only knew!

It’s scary, even for someone that’s in it every day
