RV in his heat re-entered the track after a crash, bypassing the finish line (does it count if you don't cross the finish line for a win...or even have a lap counted?). didn't go between the transponder/receiver either so why wasn't he a lap down?

I believe you are right, thinking back to the crash.

Bobby, riders are to re-enter at the first safe spot available. You're post is going to get clowned and deservedly so.

Its hard to re-enter the track, the space between tuff blocks looks like its 6 inches wide. There have been many examples of how you cant wheelie over one as you hang up and your rear wheel just spins and spins...

I'm with Bobby on this. I just checked the lap times and oddly, he has a time for every lap. We all saw him by pass the finish line, so how can he have a time for that lap???? Individual Lap times Unless it was the first lap, which may have been the case.

THE TUFF BLOCK he moved left a space to ride back on the track safely...1st safe area to re-enter

He is suposed to ride blind up a berm straight into the pack? Doesn't sound very safe.

I thought the same thing about RV not going over the finish line, but then he did enter the safest place possible given the circumstances.

How about Dungey double jumping the triple when the red lights were flashing. I thought you could only single and when Stroupe did the same thing twice in a heat race a couple years ago, they docked him two positions and he went from 1st to 3rd. Anyone know what the rule is on this?

It's the golden rule. He who has the gold makes the rules.

Not really. If you were on the floor you couldn't see over to the front side of the berm, wouldn't be very safe. There were a few riders that had to pull the same thing, riding around the finish line.
