If you're 25 and big enough to play basketball then you should harden the f@#k up and get off the 125!!
If you're not big but you play basketball then you should continue to play with yourself.

i dont get the point of a b/c mixed class. what true C rider (not that there are any of them once you get to regionals) has a chance? makes no sense.

They use B/C in the plus classes to mean no pros.

With all the sandbagging squabbling that goes on with the B/C classes I am surprised they wanted to deal with another one. Then again A rider participation looked to be way down the last few years...maybe if they paid the guys a little something it wouldn't be that way.

they will likely use the advancement system results which is good. HOWEVER!

my opinion, anyone entering the B or C classes should have to PROOVE they are B or C riders (from NON ama areas)

since this is the AMA national AMatuer Championship event promoted by mx sports riders who normally only race NON ama events are not scrutinized by this processs. SO Sandbagging happens alot.

the only way to handle it is to verify a non ama rider's status before they are allowed to race the championship.

LOL there is a can of worms.

So it would be fitting and fair to have a 2 stroke only class as there are more racers now who love 2 strokes than there were 4 stroke racers when they had the 4 stroke only class!??

4 stroke is the most useless class, locally they should just rename it to "B and A rider showdown"

I am confused how that would have anything to do with a local District's class offerings.

You dont qualify for Ls at a local race, you qualify at an LL qualifier which runs all of the classes that LLs runs over a 2 day period. Stock on Sat, and Mod on Sunday

It is time for the 4 stroke class to be gone. A 2 stroke class would have been nice.

Another 50 class? Interesting.

"We believe girls under the age of 11 are strong competitors of their male peers and are encouraged to compete in any of the 51cc to 85cc classes." Strong competitors? Really?

*** Riders in the Girls (12-15) and Womens (14+) classes may attempt to qualify at the Area Qualifer and Regional Championship in both classes, but may only enter one at the National Championship.

Girls and Womens class is/will get super competitive.

Not new, but caught this:

3. The claiming rule value is two times the Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) at all Qualifier, Regional and National events.

Wardy is correct, you can see the direction the AMA/sport is going from the MXSports changes.

Gang, riders are getting older. The mini classes are suffering right now, in part a result of the lead deal still being out there, as well as the economy.

Wardy, we have a pretty good program of weeding out the sand-baggers, and we are constantly working on ways to get better at it....
