Move Jett straight to 450 for SX. No point watching him dominate another 250 season.

That’s my vote but I doubt it happens.

Anderson is the only logical choice, but I can’t remember what his deal is for next year with Kawi.

Also was Ken’s chain post a FU to Honda?

He is signed with kawi. Won’t be Anderson.
In that case I would just do a one man 450 team with Sexton and wait for Jett to move up. 450 class is super thin these days.

Obviously not gonna happen and they wouldn't want to risk him getting hurt but it would be sick to see Gajser for a couple SX rounds before mxgp starts.

Bro you're trying to send Corporal Crash his brains out to American Sx as a replacement!?!?

i like Gasjer but that guy has gnarly gnarly get offs.. Not a Safe move for him nor the team. unless they want to make it say 3 rounds max

Wouldn’t be surprised to see Savatgy on a SX deal to fill the seat until Jett takes it for outdoors.

Chad Reed makes the most sense, he was really dominant in the LCQ races 5 years ago.

Gasjer damn near killed himself at Monster Cup a few years ago, and that's probably the least supercross track these guys race.

The smart move as I see it, is move Jett to the 450 and bring in Hymas as the second 250 guy. He did well enough in Futures last year that I think he can handle it.

If he is actually done with Honda. I'd say Savagty for the year would be the best bet then move Jett up full time next year.

What i would like to see is jett race the 1st few rounds on a 450. If it doesnt go perfect. Have jett and Hunter race 450 on the opposite coast. They don't have to do every round but most.
If Honda had a hard stance on Kenny racing wsx.
Would that be any different for a potential sx only replacement.
All riders that could be a potential replacement are all doing wsx. Savagty, mcelrath, brayton, seely.

If the sx only deal for Kenny was off the table coz he wanted to race wsx. Why would they pick up brayton after riding wsx.

Its high-time Honda quit the fucking around and moved Jett 450 full time. Especially now with KR vacating.

Can anyone tell me they're honestly excited to watch Jett in the 250SX class again next year? Whats the point for fans? He's pretty much guaranteed to win, likely sweep it even!

However, with the thought of Jett arriving at A1 on a 450, im sure we'll all be glued to the live timing and TV!

This is how it could play out for Honda..

2023- Chase wins SX championship & outdoor - whilst Jett finds his 450 feet, hitting the podium several times.
2024- Chase Moves to KTM, but Jett wins SX & Outdoor for Honda.

Two years and four championships for Honda?!

*NOTE to those who take everything so literal... I wrote and highlighted in italic "could" , NOT would, NOT will..

That is what they should do, just like DV said when he was on the Pulp show.

But they wont do that, they'll make more money bagging another 250 regional title which should come easy even if he rides around 90% of his ability. The "bad" part is that it's basically a wasted offseason and a racing year. Over 6 months of very little development in the years where there is the most to be gained. Which was DVs point if i recall.

You really wanna see Jett get tuned up by the big boys? Go with the plan of the outdoors and he honestly has not looked that impressive on the 450. I guess if Honda is dumb enough, which they are, to let Chase go to KTM, then throw Jett out there and see what happens. Jett is good but not RC, Eli or Bubba good.

Honestly, he should jump to 450, of course he’s gonna have a learning curve but stating that anyone is expecting him to be as good as RC (or any of the greats really) based off a couple Instagram videos of him on the 450 in the first year is just silly. Just like how he developed in the 250 class l, he will probably settle into the 450 class. Talented and he works hard, good recipe for something special. Watching him dominate on a 250 would be boring IMO. Nothing left to learn move on.

Okay serious post now...poor Danny Ric Sad

With Kenny now moving on from Honda I think the logical choice is Jett for 2023 SX...in fact, it should be the only choice.

* He is already confirmed 450 MX for 2023.
* He is racing 2022 MXDN on a 450.
* With the timing of Kenny's announcement, Jett has an entire off season to get ready for A1 on a 450.
* Hymas would be a great replacement for Jett.

Of course then you think from Honda's POV.

* Chase is a contender for the 2023 450 title.
* Honda could sweep 250 E/W titles with Jett and Hunter in 2023.

IMO Jett should move up...he started racing 250's at 16 years old and has won 3 titles at currently 19 years old.

And he is still a kid mentaly.

He had his fair share of rookie misstakes this winter in SX. We all know he has the speed, but what is the rush to get on a 450? After this winter he will spend his whole carreer on one.

Let him have this winter on a 250, clean up those small misstakes and ease in to the 450 class outdoors next summer.

So Honda picked the side of the PGA and stomped their feet because an independent contractor wanted to race more events…… good to know.

Will be interesting how they don’t end up being hypocrites here with a replacement that likely races WSX as well, as noted above.
