Last one I've seen was in Canada and the seller had a buy it now of $15,000, not sure if that was US or Canadian but either way, then there was these three that sold in 2017

I know everybody says how rare these are and uses that to justify their asking price but is there any real production numbers available, the one I had was number 1110

Back when I bought my son a new 2007 CR85 OTD for $2300.00 (in 2007), there was a CR125 sitting next to it for $3150.00 and a CR250 sitting next to it for $3750.00. Still kick my own ass for not making a package deal. Always told myself I won't put myself in a bind for toys and that probably would have done it back then. Sucks not being independently wealthy...lol.

So funny how things change. I sold one in 2008 and you couldn't give them away at the time.

I just picked this up two weeks ago. 07 with less than 10 hours. I don’t want to sell... more so just wanted to show it off. Even had to have the wife unload it because I’m out with a shoulder injury.

Not in the crate, but I have one that was never ridden. I don’t really want to sell but money talks.

I'm not bashing you in any way but how did you not ride these? Genuinely curious as to how/why you got these or how you store them.

I have an ‘05 that is in similar condtion to the ‘07 in the pic above. It is being preserved under a protective layer of dust. I might sell it for the right price.

Why just an ‘07? The ‘05-‘07 we’re basically the same bike.

I’m impressed how many new or near new bikes are in this thread. I don’t know how you guys resist the urge to ride them. But it’s awesome they are being preserved.

When both of my ‘04’s are worn out I’ll break out the ‘05.

I bought them from a guy in Minneapolis. The story he told me was that there was an elderly man in Arkansas who owned a dealership for many years and he knew when certain models were no longer going to be produced. He had quite the collection of 10 bikes mostly unridden, some ridden once or twice max. I'm talking the motherload, cr125's, several cr250's, and a few cr500's. The owner passed away and this guy caught wind that there was this collection left to the widowed wife and so this guy contacted the wife and made an offer for all of them and she accepted. I am sure the wife knew nothing about them and wanted them gone so you can imagine the once in a lifetime type of deal this gentleman received. This guy then got in his truck and drove to get them all. I found them on criaglist and told him I would take both the 2007 CR125 & 2007 CR250 he had and I promised to collect them and not ride them. Within the 5 hours it took me to drive to Minneapolis he had over 30 calls of people wanting the bikes but favored me since I was planning on collecting them. My only regret was not buying every single bike he had.

I have been a honda fan for a long time and loved the timeless 2007 CR125 & CR250 so I had to get them. Trust me, it is a challenge to walk by them and resist the urge to go ride them, but once I do they will never be the same.
Unfortunately, they are stored in a basement currently but I hope to someday have a shop where I can put them on display.

Wow! Thanks for the back story that's pretty cool. You always hear of those type of stories but never see them play out! That's really interesting thanks for sharing.

The Honda shop I did my apprenticeship at had in the mid 90's still a brand new CB1100RB, CB1100RC and CB1100RD parked in a row. When things started going bad for the shop, they all got sold to a Japanese collector for less than retail I believe. Now that would be profit!
