Found these while going through some old stuff. Tomac right after winning his first SX. San Diego, 2011.
Happened to be in the right spot as he was greeted by Mr and Mrs Downey. Good deal!!!

Just sharing. Morton for Vital, over and out.

Nice pics, thanks for sharing.

Eli still has to live up to the legend that his Dad is to a lot of us. I'm sure that drives him.

Met John a few times when they'd come to the World Cup race here starting the early 90s. Serious dude.

Hey chip, those are fantastic photos, but alas those are not Eli's parents.

Those folks are actually Mr and Mrs Downey, mom and Dad of the late Brett Downey... Eli and Brett were extremely close growing up, and the Downeys and Tomacs are still extraordinarily close to this day.

Still phenomenal shots, I would send them over to the Brett Downey safety foundation website, I'm sure they would love to have them.

I wasnt being critical in any way. Just looked different. Regardless, great pictures that capture the essence of what our sport is really all about!

Interesting that he was sponsored by Subway, wonder how that came about and why they didn't stick around.
