Bad starts keep him from the top.

Second moto moved forward, looked promising.

First moto he was in front of Kenny after a couple of corners.
Late in the moto he got passed by Anderson.
Moto 1 he just wasn't riding good enough.

Moto 2 a lot better. Shitty start but his pace was right around dungeys as soon as he got into third. The only problem? Dungey and Kenny were already half a minute away

Tomac will find his groove soon and when he does, watch out. I don't know why he hasn't thrown on the stock triple clamps already, it will solve all his front end problems. Maybe he will see this thread and take note...

Anyway you slice it, he is the one guy in this field where if he gets a start, you can say, he can win it... Anyone else, I'm not so sure.

He could have holeshot both motos and Roczen would have passed him in both in my opinion.

second moto was way better. from lap 6 or 7 tomac put in faster laps than dungey and ken. obviously to late to fight for the w but a good sign of fitness. he was attacking the track like he used to. 14th to 3rd in a field like this is pretty impressive.

Field is not that deep.
Kr or rd would of done the same if they started 14th...

sure. let's just ignor he passed about 6 or so champions like they were not even trying. just because ken and dungey might could have done similar that doesn't mean it is any less impressive. especially at the point where tomac is with a new bike.
