I think that its impossible for a rider of his caliber to think that you can race supercross only and be competitive year after year. Most of the riders that race supercross only have many years experience in the nats. Obviously somthing happened to him this race, and I'm not trying to hate....just sayin.

Yeah but he had many years of outdoor national experience before he went SX.

I wonder if Hart&Huntington will run the whole series if he keeps this up, or do you call it day in this economy?

Pretty sure only one on a 250F in the 450's is Keylon.

Im pretty sure Dan Blair is on a 250F

Give Hanny any bike he wants, and he will still be on struggle street. Why does everyone keep giving him chances?

Thanks. Me too but not sure. H&H bikes looked bad ass at A1 but you to wonder how long they keep suporting #100 at this rate. Not hating just MHO.

When I talk about caliber, I mean that Hanny is pretty damn good, but he is no MC. I just wonder if he would had been able to keep his SX skills a little tighter running the nats. For the most part, guys either win all of the time as amatures, get better with experience, or fall back. It seems Hanny has gone the latter route.

I wonder if he even cares anymore. Acts like a rider just going thru motions.

He was way better at start of last season on the JGR bike.

Unfortunate.

I have a front row seat with Hansen - people can tell him all day long how much talent he has, but at the end of the day, if the "drive" isn't in him, it just won't happen.

There's many factors with his performances, but everyone has issues. It is how that athlete overcomes them that makes that person successful.

It's the drive within. You've got it or you don't.

Maybe you sitting on him is weighing him down. Hard to triple with passengers.

I agree about the drive. Sad to say, but from here it appears that he wants to live the racer lifestyle but does not want to race. I met him when he was around 15-16, nice kid then but did not seem to be real hungry.

Yep, very nice guy.

But, unfortunately, I think he needs to be unemployed to figure it all out.

...or race a few seasons of 30+2
that might help, if he will cough up the the coin to do it, hard to see him getting a good ride for the nats
