I was listening to the Josh Hill Podcast this week and he brought up a great point when Matthes asked him about James and Chad. He said that with Chad, he rides just like everyone else but the reason that he is so fast is because he does what everyone else can do better. He puts in perfect laps with more intensity. He basically has mastered his talent level. James on the other hand is a complete mystery. When you watch him, he makes all kinds of mistakes, yet somehow he never fails to turn the fastest lap. His talent is so great that he is basically on his own level. Nobody else can do what he does even if they rode perfect for the basic reason that they don't have the talent. That is why RC's balls and determination are also unbelievable. This is why I tend to root for Chad. He is very talented, but not on the same level. He has to work so much harder at going that fast and the fact that he is in this championship is a credit to the effort that he puts in.

I'm just hoping that Reed can win that one race out of the next 3 "straight up" to prove once and for all that he can run with him
If they are riding together, and Reed bobbles, he can't get back that second or two he lost and (somewhat) clocks off (for his speed anyway). I hope this changes soon. Last round was great fun to watch. I'm very jealous of those who saw it in person!

Is that your helmet in that avatar pic? Scary! Hope there were no major injuries!
