Stew is a savage.

Any announcement yet of Yamaha signing him for next year/beyond? They need to just cut him a check and let him do his thing.

Stu is about as good as a dude you can get. A few years back well 2013 volunteer Hs my dad got knocked out on the start of the race. We were on the same line that day different classes, I told the track crew not to let him back on the bike because dad did not know what happened. About 2 laps in I got a flat and had slowed down to limp back to the truck. My dad passed me and finished the race. Anyways after the race Stu came over and shot the shit and “wanted to talk to the guy that was knocked on the start and finished the race” he even asked to check my dads helmet and continued to take it apart to see the damage to the foam. After that I have a been a huge fan of the 514 dudes a down to earth badass for sure.

Awesome story and comeback. Unfortunately, I know all too well how serious septic shock is from a staph infection. My daughter got one from a soccer injury and about died. The infection set into her pelvic bone and caused a number of complications. It ended up being a 3 year nightmare full of hospital stays and surgeries. Thank goodness he was able to recover. Makes me fully appreciate the adversity he faced and the determination he has. Good dude for sure and it’s nice to see the success he’s having.
